I just checked my old saves, sadly there is no Violas or her close copies but I found a cool trick that I did back then. In the first room I placed a reference to the player's Id with it I could see how my character looks like. I used it to change my appearance the way I liked it. Sadly you can't train or breed yourself, the moment training room is loaded the game will freezes.

Ah. I only just saw the Room position listing. Can't find out how to configure the girl the way I want, but baby steps, amirite? I also don't want to forfet my current save file because I got some really cool slaves on it and really don't want to lose it. Happy to share it if anyone is interested.

That kind of editing is a little above my pea sized brain. I've come close a few times through breeding so I guess I'll keep trying. The annoying thing about Viola is that she is 100% magic conductivity, so she is very prone to mutations. This would be less of an issue if that same conductivity didn't influence the conductivity of the child too. Either I lose hairless, or the tattoos are missing, it was eyeless at one point and her current extra set of wings is making it difficult to inherit the second set of vines and if I try to breed with the child, they're also very prone to mutations as well.

Is there a way to see the demand factor on a slave before you buy her?
As far as I can tell, You kind of have to eyeball it. If you own a slave of the same species, you can see the demand when you attempt to sell the individual specimen, but you have no way of seeing the specific multipliers while in the shop.
If your goal is to make profit and clear the game, I find that having 8/9 slaves selling their bodies and just waiting to be deceptively effective, until you get humanoids, then tamed slices can carry you to the end. But if you looking for particular traits, best to get a cheap member of the species you want, and use her to scale before going to the office. Her selling price will be mostly reflective of what you want to buy, barring any treats like hairless or Albino.
On the subject, Melanis and Albino are just fixed multipliers at around 30, so an Albino or Melanis slime can just instantly win at the game since the slime's proliferation can get you many Albino/Melanis slimes. Conversely, buying one of those specimens is always a huge investment that can't be inherited, so best to wait on those until your wallet can stomach them.

What's the fastest way to train a Phoenix in the early game (i.e., before hitting 50% training skill)?

Actually, scratch that: instead, how do I initiate oral once a slave's pride is at 0.0%?
...Scratch that also, you need to get her to basically trained to do so.

You know the activity menu? You know, it has the office, training, and slave buttons. I have to describe it since I don't have a picture...
There is a button that says "Blessing". clicking it will show you who's blessing you have and let's you remove it if you want. You can only have one blessing at a time, so you need to remove your old one to pick up a new one.

You can reclaim a blessing by initiating training with your trained slave while you do not have a blessing. You can do this as many times as you want and don't even need to touch them during said training.
If you are breeding a slave gave you your current blessing, or don't have one, the game will default to the player character.
Once the debt is fully paid, a blessing button will appear at the bottom of the menu in the office, allowing you to receive Viola's blessing if you don't already have one.

Blessings copy the appearance and magical conductivity of the one you get the blessing from. Offspring inheritance uses the appearance and some stats of the parents and less often, the grandparents by default.
Using the 3.2 modded version that is pretty much the standard at this point has a setting in the configuration files that narrows the breeding calculations to only the direct parents.

While I appreciate the detailed response, I was talking about a description of what exactly each race's blessing does (i.e., the Phoenix's blessing giving the player stamina regen).

Slaves ability to perform actions like Handjobs or Oral depends on the slave's skill level, and how trained she is. Alternative actions tend to require slaves to be fully trained.
Performing more actions requires more skill depending on the number of functional limbs they have, and cannot go higher that 150.
As an example, your Phoenix will cap her Skill Level at 50, since despite having wings and talons, they are non-functional.
Pretty much all possible actions are usable by around 75 on standard body types (2 arms, 2 legs) and the higher the skill level, the longer and more you release during your climax, scaling to her maximum possible skill level.
After a certain threshold, slaves will start swallowing when you shoot it in their mouths, restoring stamina when they do.
Conversely, a slave in the late pregnancy stages will lactate. Sucking on her tits while a slave is lactating will recover your own stamina.

Sorry, mate. Got carried away. Blessings only affect appearence inheritance and mutation rate, as far as I know, but I could be wrong. Either way, if it's listed, I've not seen it anywhere.

I feel like we need a video guide at this point because a huge amount of this forum is "how to edit the Json file" I've personally tried to tweak it and any text changes I made didn't stick, and I don't know why.

you probably forgot to save .json
common mistake, don't worry
I did do that. It remembered the changes on the json, but wouldn't implement them. I can only assume I missed a value somewhere or something, hence why I suggested for a video for those like myself who desperately need an adult for this type of thing.

maybe you mistakenly changed one of the parents' values, if you really messed it up the game wouldn't read the save.
