That the developer made the early game almost exclusively damage sponge rats is incredible. Nothing like hitting Z 50 time's in a row. Awful game-design.
Wouldn't I like to know. I got the post from Discord, where KB assumes people have mostly been following along with his development. The full text on the release was "Probably going to be buggy; I didn't do another thorough replay. You guys here are my guinea pigs. New content begins in Viperia Garrison, on the East Side."
While it's not obvious, Double Strike and and basically all attack skills hit significantly harder than bog standard attacks. Why? Hell if I know, but you'll find that double strike and Strong Hit for the others goes a long way to making combat less of a slog

My understanding is that KB has... Mixed feelings about these forums? I'm not sure he'd appreciate me posting a discord link directly here, even if I had invite privileges (which I don't). I got my invite through a forum post on Eka's though, and while that link is probably expired you can probably ask him for a new one there? He's got a dedicated thread for updates there too

Just in case this is a struggle for others as it was for me:
The Viperia Garrison is directly to the right of where you started this new update, AND...when I initially went there, thinking that was it, I tried going in and couldn't. Kept getting attacked while trying to enter.
I thought maybe that wasn't it, and I was wrong.
You have to follow the path, down to the bottom left corner of the garrison, then it will let you walk towards the front of the bridge, and that will enter you into the garrison.
Yes, most places on the map, you can enter at literally any part of them, but no...not in the Viperia Garrison. This was not in the design. 0_O

And how do we turn into a lizard? I THINK I remember from past updates some kind of clothing or equipment, but don't see anything.
I have both lizard pendants but neither one works.
EDIT: It appears the "SAFE" lizard pendant only works if I equip it BEFORE entering a tribe, but the regular pendant does nothing at all. Weird AF, if you ask me.

I assume you're talking about the Safe Pendant only working when already equipped before entering a tribe. But, why doesn't the regular Lizard Pendant work? Is it a bug or is it just not supposed to work?

I struggled to even figure out where to go to even get to the wastes/volcano. I'd just be roaming around the map, outside of the 2 main towns, and the fortress/lizardmen bridge area. I just spent tons of time getting into battles and never finding where to go.
Finally figure out I have to walk into the mountain in the top left corner. (doesn't look like a "pass" at all. It straight up just looks like the rest of the mountain, in that area, where I can't walk through.

Since searching didn't bring up the answer in here, and I spent an hour easily trying to figure it out:
When you turn into a cow, and go to the milker room, eat 7 times from the fruit bowl, and 7 from the bowl directly to the left of it. 14 total is a decent amount to not go overboard or be not enough, and it's the basic blend between sweet and bland.
And now it is a friggin issue even roaming around this damn pasture trying to figure out what to do. This is becoming less and less like a porn game and more and more like a guessing game. 0_O
Anywho..... if anyone knows what to do, please let me know. If I figure it out by then, I'll post here. lol
