The concept is interesting and worth developing further. One suggestion though: It might be because my laptop is really weak and can barely handle unity games, but the text loading times are a little slow. And considering this is a game where failing a lot is kinda the point, that's an enjoyment assassin. If you could code it so we could just click through it faster it would really help with preventing me from getting frustrated into quitting.
After the intro plays out the first time, you should be able to skip all the text sections by pressing [esc]. You can also turn "Tutorials" off in the menu (Press Esc. from game screen) to not see them at all.

Ah, dammit - I made a last-minute change to those JSON files and stupidly didn't do a test run before publishing.

I've updated the links. I'll attached the fixed JSON files here - unzip and copy to their respective folders under Slay the BJ_Data/Events/

Embarrasing.

I will address the disappearing cursor in a future update.
well the errors aren't there anymore, but for me I still don't see the branching paths, all i get is the base node battle and if I win it shows some text and makes me select another person and I get the base node again

are you choosing all or multiple opponents? which by the way having to do everytime is annoying

I was only choosing one, I didn't realise you could choose multiple and that it would lead to the pathing, so its works for me now, my mistake I guess. Was it said anywhere that is what you had to do and I missed it?

no. The game just kind of plops us in with no explanation. Something that I suggest should be addressed in a future update

I like the idea. Needs a bit of work, like a more detailed explanation of the stats and how the girls fit in. Selecting a single girl vs running a gauntlet. etc..
Looking forward for content packs too!

There are a number of things on this I dont get like the cursor disappearing and I cant figure out if there is a save on this. But the one that makes mo sense to me is you play and play and then all of a sudden you get some messages and then game shuts down to main menu and "new game". Can't tell if something failed and I lost or there is some time limit. It wasn't because I ran out of money. Not sure how to avoid it

Thanks, all, for your interest and thoughtful criticism. To answer a few questions and issues:

Future roadmap for development does include multiple opponents during the main game phase, as well as some kind of save game functionality.

The main thing seems to be the game mechanics, so I've written up some instructions which I will post here, and will be included in a future update.
