This initial release has maybe 20-60 minutes of gameplay (depending on how good/lucky you are at cards and how fast you read). Once you've gotten to the point where Spin the Bottle is unlocked, you've gotten to the end of the content for this version. As I mentioned elsewhere in the thread, expect a slow burn when it comes to sexual content. Right now, it's just getting to know the main characters and some kissing. Future versions will have more sex stuff.

If you download it an play, leave some feedback. What works, what doesn't? Come across any bugs? Favorite girl? What kind of content do you want to see in future versions?

Good news, everyone. The initial buggy first version is here:
Hi red_faced.

I just give it a little try (until the first auto-save after the first sleepover).
Here some criticisms (that I hope to be constructive), comments and questions.
I understand the game is at it's earlier development, and you could already have planed to address some of them.

Overall:
  • I don't figure how to save. Is there there only automatic saving?
  • I would like to have an option to go back during dialogs (as with Ren'Py games). Because sometimes I click a bit to fast, or don't paid attention enough to a phrase and want to read it again. And also because I'm a little cheater ;) and like to try many options when there are choices.
  • And also an option to speed up the writing of the text. Sorry I'm a bit too used to Ren'Py game :).
  • In fact, I'm curious. Your first game run with Ren'Py. Why did you change of game engine?
Is it because it's easier to implement a card game with this one?
  • Stephanie eyes are very strange. As if she as 2 iris and pupils by eye.
    1741115395814.png
During the boardgame:
  • As I'm a bit dumb :), it take me a few seconds to understand that to play a card, I must slide it on the top area of the board, not just click on double-click on it. It's give a nice feeling of actually playing a cards game, but perhaps not all the players will figure it.
  • I can buy cards, but they don't show up in my hand, and so I can't play them. Part of the buying card works, as I see my gold decreased.
  • Gold reset to zero at the beginning of each turn. Is it intended?
If so, it makes buying costly cards almost impossible.
  • After playing a Beggar card, I can get the 4 cards from the trash, but couldn't play the gold and victory cards I already have in hand.
  • Sometimes, when I play the Beggar card, there are no card to chose, even if the discard has a lot more than 1 card.
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
  • Our victory points aren't displayed.
  • At the end of the card games, it said I get 5 victory points, when I'm sure I played way more victory cards.
And it's even worst during the first dream, as the Mysterious Woman claim I have 0 VP?!
Anyway, it's promising.
The boardgame thing is original. At least, I don't remember playing an AVN with that. As a boardgame myself, I like it (even if it's a bit buggy for now). But prepare yourself for players who won't like it. But as you make a female protagonist with only lesbian action game, I think you are already prepared to a lot of whining :D.

I'll say the same thing as above, the actual card game seems bugged.
-There is nothing preventing playing more than one card when we have only one action.
-My hand keeps changing every turn, it does not matter if i played something, bought something or did nothing
-playing gold cards do nothing

So far, the main part of the game seems completely bugged.

The game is very small, and my eyesight very bad, those don't make a good combo, as i often say in others games, if i need a microscope a to play a game, something is wrong.

A little bit on art,

MA never look either at the player or the other characters, I think you should switch her place with the tomboy.
When they all stand side by side, their body proportion (especially the heads) are way out of scale. MA has a head twice the size of the others.

Since I couldn't play the gamecard, I couldn't go far in the game, so i can't say much more than that.

Wow! That's a lot of feedback.

To address them:

  1. There is automatic saving only. It happens during the "time passes" screen that appears after the morning.
  2. I'll consider rollback as something to implement in the future. Rest assured though, there are no "wrong" dialog choices that will lock you out of any content (besides seeing one set of dialog instead of another).
  3. Changing text speed is also something I'll look into adding in future releases.
  4. I wanted to use a more extensive game engine, because it provides more flexibility. The 3D environment for the card game is the major thing for this version, but also for future versions I want to have the freedom to add stuff as I see fit without being restricted to what Ren'Py can do.
  5. I like her design. I see it as you seeing half her iris through her glasses and half from above her glasses. If there are strong opinions about the character design from players though, I might make some revisions.
Board game questions:
  1. Yeah, I guess it's obvious to me since I made the game. But maybe I'll make a little sticker that shows where people drag their cards to to make it easier.
  2. Buying cards puts them in the discard, and they will appear on future turns after you shuffle your deck.
  3. Your gold, actions, and buys all reset each turn.
  4. The beggar card lets you remove cards that are still in your hand and haven't been played yet. I can probably make this more clear in the text.
  5. See 4
  6. Correct. Similar to if you were playing the card game IRL, you would just have to remember which cards you purchased and are in your deck and discard, including how many victory point cards.
  7. Victory Point cards don't do anything when you play them. Just having them in your cards gives you points at the end of the game. Like the thief, I could probably make this clearer in card text. And the Victory Points that you use in the dream shop are different from the Victory Point cards you use in the game... even though they're both called Victory Points  I should probably pick a different name for one of these.
I really appreciate you taking the time to play it and type all that out. This stuff is really useful.

Thanks for the feedback.

I think I need to do a better communication of the card mechanics in game.

You need an action to play action cards (the ones with the yellow background). Gold cards and victory cards can be played at will (though victory cards do nothing until the end of the game). Gold cards increase the amount of gold you have that turn to allow you to buy more cards.

Wow! That's a lot of feedback.
Well, I suppose it's what you wanted by releasing an earlier version of the game.

After your answers, I play more as I understand a bit more the cards game.

There is automatic saving only. It happens during the "time passes" screen that appears after the morning.
Oh shoot!
I must say I'm casual player, and a little big fat cheater :), and I like to save a lot.
I'm aware that it's not the same with an AVN than with a game with lot of combats, where you can loos a lot of progression after loosing a combat.
It's more that with AVN, I like to see all the choices and rarely replay an AVN.

I like her design. I see it as you seeing half her iris through her glasses and half from above her glasses. If there are strong opinions about the character design from players though, I might make some revisions.
Yes, I figured it's some like of diffraction by the glasses, but it just feel odd for me.

Buying cards puts them in the discard, and they will appear on future turns after you shuffle your deck.
I must admit I'm not a big cards deck building games player. I'm more a (very bad :)) wargamer. Or a player of boardgame like Terraforming Mars, where there are cards but they are all in your hand.
So I didn't understand well your cards game mechanism at first.

The beggar card lets you remove cards that are still in your hand and haven't been played yet. I can probably make this more clear in the text.
See 4
It's totally my fault, I read this card wrong, thinking it was a way to get card FROM the trash. Not putting the card IN the trash, as the text say.
Now, I must admit I really don't see the interest of that card.
After all, the cards in my hand that I don't play will finish in the trash anyway, no?

Correct. Similar to if you were playing the card game IRL, you would just have to remember which cards you purchased and are in your deck and discard, including how many victory point cards.
Again, it was a misunderstanding of the cards game mechanism.
I was thinking that you must play victory cards to actually earn the victory points.
Not that you just have to have them in your deck.
So if I understand well, playing them does nothing. During the game, they just remove options as they take the place of useful card (gold and action card) in your hand. But you need them to win at the end.

I really appreciate you taking the time to play it and type all that out. This stuff is really useful.
Well, you give us your game for free.
I think the less I can do is giving you the more feedback I can to help you improve your game.

So now that I have understand the game a bit more and play it a bit longer, my second round of questions/comments :)
  1. I know the game isn't flesh out yet, and than you probably want the things to start slowly.
But after a couple of day, it start to be a bit repetitive.
And people who are here just for some lewd actions risk to drop it fast.
  2. I found a "bug" (more a wrong text). On the Archer card it's written that your opponent must trash 2 cards. And if one of the girls play it, you effectively must discard 2 cards. But when I play it, the dialog says they must discard 3 cards:
    1741124997351.png
  3. Still with the Archer, the cards you trash go to your discard, right? So you will get them again after shuffling your discard.
They aren't remove from the game?
  4. When the other girls play the Goblin, they always pick the MC. So after a few times, they often ask the same question, as the set of question is limited to 5.
First, the game should keep trace of what question were already asked to the MC, so the girls won't ask one twice in a row.
Second, they should be able to ask to the other girls. Or they should not buy that card anymore after the MC answer all the questions.
  5. If I don't play some cards in my hand, they just go in the trash, isn't it ?
  6. I never know when the game is about to end.
A remaining turn counter would be great.
  7. I supposed you will add more option after the card game. Because for now, there are only the choice between watching a movie and playing video-games, and again, it's feel repetitive after a couple of day.

2. It makes people discard down to 3 cards (from 5). So it basically reduces your starting hand size from the next turn.
3. I think I'm going to rework it to get rid of the word "trash" since it's just confusing. The archer means cards go into your discard where they will then get shuffled into your deck after you draw through it. The beggar doesn't just discard your cards; it fully removes them from the game (so they won't be shuffled back into your deck).
4. Yeah... this is a bug.
5. They go in the discard.
6. It's going to depend on the other girls and what they do, since there's not a set number of turns in the game, but it ends when either the last 6VP card is gone or three of the card piles from the shop are empty. Could be something worth adding in to future versions though to give some kind of indicator when those are close to happening.
7. Once you unlock it, you can also do spin the bottle. But yeah, not a lot of options for now.

Sorry, it was my poor understanding of English that had struck again.
I didn't understand well the "discard down to 3 cards" sentence.

Ok, I didn't understand that the beggar make you remove the card form the rest of the game.
I suppose you can keep the word "trash" to meaning that the card is remove from the game, but just explain it in the rules.

Perhaps an indicator when the end is near (there only one 6PV card remaining, or 2 of the card piles from the shop are empty.
To be honest, I read the rules twice, but didn't catch them very well. And then I forgot a bit of them :)
Perhaps having a way to recall the rules could help.

7. Once you unlock it, you can also do spin the bottle. But yeah, not a lot of options for now.
Is the "spin the bottle" already available?

I think the "game is coming to an end soon" indicator might be good for a future update.

To answer your question, Spin the Bottle is available. It will appear in the dream shop after the MC and her friends have answered enough questions with the goblin cards (specifically, kissing-related questions)

By the way, thanks for sticking around and giving a lot of feedback. It's been really useful. From you and lnomsim

I've made some changes that address some of the things you've brought up as well as making the default resolution larger and giving players the ability to re-size the game window.

Yes, an indicator that the end of the game is near would be great.
But I must confess I often have this issue with IRL boardgame (OK it take me 8 turns to build my game, I'm behind everyone, but now I ready to rock in the 10 next turns... What?! How that there is only 1 turn left?!!! :D).

To answer your question, Spin the Bottle is available. It will appear in the dream shop after the MC and her friends have answered enough questions with the goblin cards (specifically, kissing-related questions)
OK, I think must ask about kissing boys.
Didn't ask before, because I'm only interested in girls ;), but I suppose it's make sens that the MC want to know if here friends are interested in boys :( or not :).

By the way, thanks for sticking around and giving a lot of feedback. It's been really useful. From you and @lnomsim
You are created a game like I like (lesbian harem/polyamory), so it's a pleasure if I could give you a little help.
Even if it's just with some criticisms (that I hope are constrictive, and not offensive).

I've made some changes that address some of the things you've brought up as well as making the default resolution larger and giving players the ability to re-size the game window.

I don't think I will have the time to test it today or tomorrow, but I will let you know if I find anything as soon as I can.

Finally, I manage to have the time to try the 0.3 update.

I run in a bug, during the boardgame.
If another girls play the Goblin and ask MC, it's always about her favorite body part and I get this

I know it's been awhile since I commented. So I'm letting people know I'm still working on it. Things are mostly ready for the next release. I've also started making some "paper doll" sprites for the characters so you can see them in various stages of undress in the same pose (in a future update), and I think it's looking pretty good.
