About family values: absolutely similar feelings, as much as the 3rd part was exciting, it became boring from the 7th to the 8th part.
My opinion is due to the fact that Freddie was relegated to the category of an ordinary victim of a Bitch Tandem.
Personally, I had high hopes for him precisely within the framework of a possible catalyst that would set the plot in motion...
Hope is not dead yet... But... Chemical cupid. That says it all.

And also because "family values" lag behind "thief" chronologically in time.
Those events that have already occurred in the "thief" of family values are presented as an "unexpected turn"! We recall Carmilla's "unexpected arrival"...
Also, as a result, the "disadvantage" of family values was their extremely dense arrangement! From part 1 to 8, only 3 weeks of time passed.

Well, I don't think that the story telling was boring but the subject changed. While most parts have sex occurring, in part 7 and 8 everything is about sex with 41 pages of orgy. The purpose of this must be punishment for Eve and a new role where Freddy can use his new experience.

After "A Day Off" the question was, how can Trixie watch Eve and Vi abuse Nancy or does she tell about Eve and Vi's crimes to stop the abuse. And generally, how long can Trixie hide her dominant personality and attraction to Nancy or do we cut this out?

If you want to continue the story with Nancy, Eve and Vi sleepygimp already used up many ideas of Girl Detective, of Black Fox, of Student Dorm scenarios. What next?
A drastic change in a character pairing with Nancy provides many new ideas for new scenarios. The capture of Trixie must lead to such a change in character.
What character change for Trixie do we need to keep her in the story, can Trixie become an accomplice or drone?
Or do we want a new room mate to pair up with Nancy, hence Trixie continues to be broken?

After Eve and Vi have distroyed the evidence, Carmilla can still punish Eve. In such a scenario Trixie could be released and put in a new character. What is the new role of Freddy?

It's not boring if you read everything in one go. Just delayed in time.

The purpose of this was supposed to be punishment, but we know from the results of the "thief" that there was no "punishment"...
And what kind of new experience Freddie will use, the fuck knows, we haven't known what's wrong with him or where he is for more than 2 years. Since the beginning of the solstice orgy.

After "A Day Off" the question was, how can Trixie watch Eve and Vi abuse Nancy or does she tell about Eve and Vi's crimes to stop the abuse.
She repeatedly tries to warn Nancy, but Nancy waves Trixie off.

Well, the theory of what condition Trixie will remain in, we built here on the forum...
Whether Trixie will be accepted into the tea club...
Or Freddie or Leopold turned over a barrel of chemical cupid during another orgy, and all participants would lose their long-term memory...

After Eve and Vi have distroyed the evidence, Carmilla can still punish Eve. In such a scenario Trixie could be released and put in a new character. What is the new role of Freddy?
Again, theories.
To summarize the conversation, everything you wrote is correct. And the questions about the plot are correct. But we don't get any answers to them anymore... 2 years old?
Sleepy, in all its current story lines, has fallen into a "plot calm":
He seemed to draw something every month, but nothing had happened for years.

In my opinion, the character of Trixie is too important to be wiped out. She is the only one who can opposite at the Bitch Tandem; without her, the stories would just become a "boring" series of episodes of domination in which Evie always wins easily, without any opposition.

Moreover: Trixie has a personality too strong to be reduced to a brainless puppet like Nancy's aunt. Yes, she can be tortured and forced to talk, but in her own she will NEVER stop to fight against Evie.

So, how will Evie dispose of that unbreakable prisoner?
An option is to keep Trixie as a "eternal gimp", like Country Girl (but Trixie has more personal resources and inventiveness than CG, so she can find out an unsuspected way to escape).
Trixie in the "Tea Club"? It would really disappoint me. She was create as a NEMESIS of the LeFeys activities, and she must remain so. Otherwise, we speak about her transformation into another character, totally different from the original one. It would be a very bad twist, for me.

Which in turn seems to have become very slow for Sleepy himself! In "The Thief" it is clear that the author is already ready to go further, and began to break away from "family values" in time, which in turn gave rise to even more questions that sleepy does not provide answers to within the framework of the narrative.
Well, according to the beginning of To catch a thief, we know some sure details about how Family Values will end:
1) Carmilla will not appear to punish Evie.
2) Freddie will remain submissive to Evie.
3) The relationship between Evelyn and Violet will non be altered.

The only "mistery" is WHY during the party Freddie is tied to a bed in a secret room, if he is totally under the control of Evelyn.
It could be that in the last pages of FV he will somehow break this control and threaten to run away, so Evie forces him to stay tying him to a bed while she thinks of a solution to the problem. But this not-yet-solved question is too little to generate a great interest towards the final pages of FV, imho.

Exactly, diminishing Trixie to a Gimp or Slave would be absolute the downfall (though its kinda on a huge decline already) of Sleepy's stories.

We follow superheroes movies because there's the good and the bad, more often than not I want the evil to triump, but here it is the opposite, the evil is the law, and Trixie and (the late) Nancy used to oppose them, heck, Park became a puppet in a finger snap, she would be an interesting minor character, but that one it's literally dead and buried pretty much.

You know what it looks like? That Sleepy loves Evelina so much (Sleepy Simp?), he forgets to bring a new dynamic now and then, so Evelina always wins. Oh, if there's one character he absolutely hates, that's hands down the great Seline.

Yes, I noticed too. In the Sleepy universe there are many predators and victims, but not heroes and villains - which in narrative is the basis of a drama.
In our case the heroes (Nancy, Trixie, Freddie...) are not classic heroes; they are considered "heroes" because of their occasional opposition to the villains (Evie and Violet).

Of course, the main rule of every bondage comic is that EVIL MUST WIN - otherwise no scene of abuse would be shown. But what makes special the work of Sleepy in comparison to the other "normal" bondage comics, is the unusual care given to the plots and the characters. And sadly, recently this special feature starts to lose powerness, imho. :(

I agree. Often, Sleepy starts interesting plots or characters...but then seems to lose energy during the development of them. We saw it in Night of living dolls, or in the last parts of Family Values.

Moreover, it's still unclear the role of some potential "competitors" of the Bitch Tandem, like the great Selene or the indian girls of the Yoga Center (does Evie aware of them? Are them secretly allies, or do they work "indipendently"?), and yes, also miss Park. Each of them somehow involved in mind control. Sometimes they fight each other (and the loser turns from predator to victim), but there's never a classic "Good vs. Evil" fight, I mean someone to cheer for and someone else to hope will be punished in the end.

Sleepy Simp?
Sleepy Pimp :p

Kacap.........

Is that the new part ? What is going on with f.v parts ??
Part 8 is finished.
There have been no leaks so far. Even the latest leaks have not appeared in English. Only in translation.
The only thing I can say is that on 1 of the last pages of the 8th part of family values, Evelyn is lying with an ice pack on her ass.
