As my post said, June 30 is the latest. He hasn't extended it again, but then don't expect any content for a few weeks after he returns as, assuming he returns to drawing June 30, then it will be a few weeks before he releases content and then you got to wait for a kind soul to leak it. So really, I probably should have said don't ask until mid to late July.

You know what?
..No, just listen...
Subscribers say that the vacation has been extended on the subscribestar website until July 31...
Well, actually, as I was saying: Don't expect him back before September...
Summer, it's time for vacations!
Except Sleepy isn't based in the states where June-August is Summer. I thought he was based in Brazil and if so, that means it is Winter there.

I think the subpage automatically puts it until the end of the month, as they had already said.

Hello everyone!

I have noticed that in these difficult times for us, more and more AI-generated fakes are appearing.

They have one thing in common, they are artificial. Artificial as fuck!
Tough live...

im ok with ai as long as it looks good i dont care who made it. but for those with a stick up their ass it might be better to make another sleepygimp thread for those AI images.
stick up their ass? you are a soulless creature who only thinks with their dick. you are controlled by your hormones to the point of you indulging in unethical art. generative ai art steals from real artists to produce nothing but slop devoid of a human's touch. i'm sure you don't understand because you are neither an artist nor creative. you are lazy for wanting a program to generate a poor imitation instead of drawing it yourself. you don't belong in the art community and you will never have the credibility to have any of your comments on art taken seriously. go pick up a pencil

Is it Violet or Freddie?
I'm surprised that explanations are needed, but OK. Freddie.

You know, your whole post is reminiscent of the protest of factory workers at the beginning of the 20th century.
This was especially evident when automatic machines began to appear.
The protest was aimed at preventing factory owners from installing machine tools in factories...
Workers were breaking down machines, disabling them, and striking in the belief that "soulless machines will take away human labor.".. Sounds familiar, right?
Years have passed and now everything you hold in your hands has been created using human-controlled machines.

All the current abuse of artists on artistic neural networks reminds me of those workers from the early 20th century.
Wait a bit, the world is in the process of adaptation again, years will pass and the artists themselves will say "how did we live before without the help of these programs"
So don't worry, don't swear. A machine still cannot displace a person, especially in such a niche as creativity!

comparing generative ai art to machines that help build objects shows how ignorant you are. those two things are not the same at all.
also, ai art doesn't have the suppleness or intricacy that human art does, and even if it did, it wouldn't even be real, it's right there in the name, "artificial". if people would put the same effort into learning how to draw as they did into developing ai and sitting on their asses typing prompts, we wouldn't be having this debate. and to top it off, the amount of energy needed to power ai is terrible for the environment. it all stems from laziness.

For me, it's a comparison of web artists and their problems with neural networks, 20th century factory workers, and automatic machines... Very appropriate.
Worry that these "soulless monster machines" are about to destroy all our work!

I say again, just give time. Time will pass and there will be laws governing the use of neural networks.
A product that comes out from under the "hands" of neural networks will be marked with some kind of sign / code/ brand and will not be valued as human work!
After all, this is a long-traveled path. Which is more appreciated nowadays, a factory chair or a hand-made craft chair? The answer is already clear.
Don't take it so acutely that people are just having fun with a new toy.
