I love the analogy. However, when 10,000 tons of water is about to annihilate you and everything you care about, I figure flipping it a bird and spiting in its face is a little more respectable than curling into a sobbing ball. Futile of course, as is any response to such vast inevitability, but there’s something to be said for not going quietly.
