Which is very bullshit and bias coming from Patreon themself, consider some Patreon Dev making adult games using copy righted characters from well known cartoon/animation that actually below 18 years old but didn't getting any trouble for years. Make you have lot of questions that need to be answer and why so suddenly some assholes coming out of nowhere reporting Blue axolotl about the content in game

It's not all gloom and doom. The 2.5k goal a month was specifically for developing SOV3, SOVO, and Hunter 2. The main change now is that they're shifting focus to just SOVO and Hunter 2. They mentioned that they might need to rush SOVO a bit sooner then they hoped, but they also mentioned that they had never abandoned a game, and I'm inclined to believe them, so not all hope lost.
That said I dunno how much they're getting on fanbox but its been a month and they're only hitting 563$ on subscribe star. Hopefully the Patreon PMs they sent out last week-ish will get some more people back who weren't paying attention but I'm a bit worried about them having to cancel the projects just to be able to house and feed themselves reliably :/

wait this game got banned? and they abandoned it or are they gonna update it anytime soon? seriously wtf when will people get smart and realize that its safer to allow people with fucking child and animal fetishes to have their fucking outlet rather than starve them and force them into further depression or worse. an offense or more illegal activity. Letting people have their outlet instead of starving them to doing another, possibly worse, offense you say... I can't really agree with you on that one. As much as I like this stuff in hentai, I know it's fucked up. Not everyone can see that I believe.
These preventions set up by Patreon for an example are, in my eyes, there to make you realise what you're doing is not up to what people classify as 'normal'.
Referring back to the outlet thing, it's probably not good to have that either, because people could get accustomed to certain things and take things a lot further. Examples of that are all those reports about games like GTA and PUBG leading to a lot of aggressivity and voilent behaviour.
If it's illegal it's illegal. If it's not it's not. If 2D or 3D games, or other forms of content are not condoned and possibly not allowed, then Patreon's reasoning behind their actions is completely valid.
I hate this just as much as everyone here does, but we have to face reality. They're not doing it just to piss us off.

yeah i know its wrong also. but from my perspective it seems better to give certain people something otherwise emotions and desires can stagnate and build up and thats not healthy regardless so you have to provide leeway somewhere. and my quote wasnt so much about whether or not what patreon did was right or wrong more so about not letting it stop them from developing the game further cause im just wondering if they still will. lastly i will say that its a double edge sword. your comparison to violent videogames is indeed a good one. i agree. but things could be alot worse and its the price we pay to let all the people who might be out there commiting crimes stay indoors and rot away. further feeding there dopamine demons. we suffer the few and far apart of isolated incidents were crime still exists. im my mind thats better than the alternative. i think having an outlet is important because its what can allow people to develop self control. not always having one can force people to learn the hard way. to put things simply try to atleast imagine what society would be like without any hentai porn or violent movies or games. some people would think better. but according to psychology i think alot worse. anyway enough about that. cool game so far i like the expansion into monster territory more than straight up bestiality anyway. be cool to see what they come up with. seriously not a big fan of scat or piss. the monkey scenes from prior games and all the fucking dog stuff was gross. give us an option to turn it off this time. i dont wanna see monsters shitting on the girls. lmfao.

I honestly don't know the full picture, but I can imagine that Patreon might not actually want to restrict certain nsfw content, since it is still a revenue source, but that Patreon is rather haven difficulties with their payment partners similar to PornHub before it's "purge" on unverified content.

Even then the chance Blue axolotl changing his mind and decide to abandon it completely to pursue other profitable new project might happen too, truly sad and tragic
