It's really weird that Seiichi was skeptical about a yokai that can predict the weather when there's a freakin' succubus right next to him.
The weird thing is that there already is a save file on the 0.3 that starts you before the credits, but you're missing 2 early scenes and your don't have the pre-requisites for the last horse scene of 0.2. You're also missing those "battle cards" for that minigame too. Oh and Naomi's face panel art for her dialogue is nothing but a floating pair of glasses when i tried the update on that pre-made save file for 0.3 too btw
Has anyone tried copying over JUST the "file0" and "file1" saves from 0.2 -> 0.3, as opposed to just copying the whole save file over? Maybe thats causing the bug, not so much the save files themselves?
Yes and it still gives the same issue.
I really don't understand why would a simple save transfer cause this.

How does the advancement of years relate to animations over pictures? As long as both have to be handmade, pictures will always be the more affordable option?
Yeah can confirm that im still getting the same issue too by doing it via save file only
Honestly, these types of headache-inducing bugs are what make me prefer to wait for a game to be completed, as opposed to playing update by update. At least whatever issues there are will be ironed out by then

Just to be clear you HAVE to use a new save, or the provided save, you cannot use an old save for this update (0.3) as stated by the Dev.
A ton has been changed and added this update with the introduction of the entire after story (new mechanics, stat systems, ect ect...)
Personally I suggest doing a full restart, it won't take that long to get caught up and you'll have everything unlocked easily

That's what I've been doing but I always fuck up with the horse nurture cause the dev is an asshole.
Some easy to miss things with the horse:
1. You have to spend time with the horse on both days
2. Check his bandages on Sunday ASAP, you have to talk to Mari next to the horse again and then to Seiichi so he gives you the bandages. Very easy to miss if you don't do it early because Seiichi becomes busy with other things.

No, in hindsight there are probably a lot of beasty VNs out there but I don't like rape which rules out like 80-90% of them, the rest seem to be RPGM or some other type of sandbox. A lot of other games might have the tag but it'll be for a single optional scene.
I guess what I'm chasing is pretty niche when compared to what's available.
Great, new game, even bigger tits, only now they're larger than the character's head, and would likely cause severe back issues.

Although you can only find them in Japanese you can easily translate them with softwares like Textractor (google translate), Sugoi Translator (deepl), LunaTranslator (chatgpt) and a dictionary like Yomitan. There's tts software like clipboard reader if you like too.

I guess I'm mostly just looking for a renpy VN that focuses around bestiality content as I generally don't like too much 'gameplay' in my games if you know what I mean.

You can try Project Miriam but I came across NTR in that VN and there's no tag.
Unless buttering up your daughter only to find her taking the dick of someone too afraid to live at home by himself when he's just next door to be not NTR.
