The word is 'slippery', but everyone around Pittsburgh just says 'slippy'. Is it raining? Better watch out, the roads are slippy! It's one of the 'fun' local vocabulary, alongside 'gumbands' (rubber bands), 'spicket' (spigot or faucet), 'buggy' (shopping cart), 'nebby' (being nosey), 'jagoff' (jerk), and perennial favorite 'yinz' (you all).

Tried to play a couple of these, but getting the message that "DX8VB.DLL was not found".
(I guess it's a file that came with DirectX 8 but not later versions)

I'm on Windows 10. Any thoughts/anyone able to run successfully?

Figured it out. I had to track down a copy of that dll file, added to my game folder and then registered it via CMD with regsvr32

I started one up and it forced fullscreen and almost destroyed my hearing, it also seems to be expertly programmed to block the view of any other window by alt tabbing so I cant even lower the volume from volume mixer. It forces all sound or no sound and wont even play in windowed. I've never seen such an obnoxious game in the past decade, is there any way to fix this? at least so I don't have to play either muted or bleeding my ears?
