It does work on linux via WINE but unstable with semi-frequent crashes.

via DSLR + koboldcpp as AI server
Huh... What kind of wine configuration?
When I tried a basic wine setup I couldn't get it to do anything.
It launched, but the UI was missing bits and nothing worked.

While we are at fun polls I guess.
I still want more votes for the model comparison btw.

How do you feel about the hosters I currently use for SLR Translator, and pre patched games?

I always used Krakenfiles as the main hoster because files wouldn't expire there. Now they have introduced a "stays online 30 days after the last download" rule, which doesn't make them special anymore.

My main requirements for a hoster are a download speed of at least 1MB/s for free users, no account requirement for uploader or user, and a file size of at least 1GB to actually fit SLR Translator. Also ideally a host that is actually allowed on F95, but honestly if someone shows me a host objectively better than what's allowed here, I'd just have that on a-s and only one download link here.

The seemingly best hoster options that are approved here, too, are:
HosterMaximum File SizeTime until files expire after last download
6GB240 Days
6GB30 Days
2GB30 Days
2GB30 Days
1GB30 Days
Unlimited14 Days

Which one of those would you prefer as the "main" download mirror? Do you know another, better option?
Do you know something problematic about any of these?

Dumb idea, but you could try to download every month all uploaded files using a script in order to avoid them being deleted in Krakenfiles.
About maximum file size limit for SLR Translator, in worst case scenario, you could split it in two .rar.
From your list, Workupload is the one I'm more used to, but any are fine as F95 permits it.
On other alternatives, I've seen these being used:
HosterMaximum File SizeTime until files expire after last downloadNotes
gofile.io30 GB?10 days?
pixeldrain.net20 GB120 daysNot sure if it requires an account?
fuckingfast.netNo limitIt doesn't expire if downloaded 30 times in first 60 daysDoes not appear in F95 approved nor reject host list

I have 40Mbit down 5Mbit up on a good day, which is why I usually don't actually upload stuff myself, but get help.

Gofile deletes files on the first anon report. I don't think I've ever had a gofile link that lasted more than a month.
Pixeldrain needs an account to upload.
Fuckingfast's limit would not be reached. My stuff is very niche.

Is requiring an account an absolute deal-breaker? I feel that as long as it lets you make an account with a privacy-focused email (like Proton) then it should be okay. I haven't got around to actually testing this yet, though I do know some services are like "gmail or gtfo."

Of the options listed, Workupload is my favorite to download from since it plays nice with both NoScript and my VPN.

A single account ban would potentially get rid of everything.
If every single upload is connected to a different IP with nothing obvious tying them together in the system, then it's a lot more annoying for an attacker to successfully destroy.
