THIS is a sin in game design. NEVER provide a single download with multiple zips to extract, cause every single road bump along the way is going to be a quit moment (plus the naming inside is confusing too, like, why provide a 0.9 AND a 0.1 to 0.9).
Instead, provide multiple downloads each containing a single file. Like one for updating from 0.9 to 0.10 and an all-in-one option instead. This might seems like a bit of an hassle, but in the long run, it
- saves on the bandwidth
- On the download end, some services (like MEGA) have a limit on outbound transfer. So by splitting the download stream, you save on that precious limit
- On the upload end, the smaller update file can be uploaded to site with no download limit but size limit instead (like zippy share). Which means less download from your main file
- provides an ease of access
- By doing so, no one needs to keep coming back to this page and look for the installation instructions whenever they downloaded the game

Ran into a bug in the guide. I'd already met Leah and advanced her story to the point of her opening her yoga studio. Then I saw there was a bugfix and downloaded that and used a saved game. Because I had advanced Leah's storyline her guide entry was stuck as "Unknown" with the hint to advance India's story. It seems the code showing the Unknown entry checks IF leahMet != 1. But, I had advanced her story to the point that leahMet was 2. So maybe the initial IF statement should check IF leahMet < 1 or IF leahMet is 0 instead.

This game sounds interesting, and I figured I'd give it a try. I played some of the designer's other games and thought they were interesting. However, after downloading this game and seeing the hassle with error messages I kind of got turned around while trying to install this game. I reached that "quit" moment. Unless the author simplifies the installation and update process, I'm going to have to pass on this game. Which is unfortunate because it sounds like an interesting game.

If you read the messages on the previous pages, you should see that this is exactly what the author did. Apparently the moderators, not the author, re-packed the multiple downloads as a zip of zips.
Until this botched re-packaged version, I always enjoyed downloading only the updates from the previous version so that I would not have to waste several hours re-downloading the older videos and images that I already had. That allowed me to upgrade from 0.3 to 0.4, then all versions including bugfix releases up to 0.9... This all worked smoothly until someone messed up version 0.10.
Don't give up! Or maybe wait until the next version is released, hopefully as multiple downloads instead of the current packaging nightmare. The game is interesting and fun to play.

I'll probably wait for an update or two and see if the author organizes his game into a simple instillation/update process. Like I said the game seems interesting and I want to play but I'm just not into navigating a mess of an instillation.
hi everyone, my hdd no longer works and i lost all the saves of all the paths. Why does anyone have a full 0.9 or 0.10 save? any path is fine. Thanks.
Hello AmusingOddity, I realize that this has been brought up before, but I'm having trouble reconciling the Elliot plotline with your previous game "To Train Your T-Girl".
My discomfort is due to it being brought up several times in that game that the MC is not just uncomfortable with forced feminization, but is outright hostile to those that do so, and yet here the MC is doing so with seemingly no hesitation to someone who is underserving of such a fate. I've read one of your comments that Elliot is supposed to represent a specific archtype, and I have no trouble with that - I just don't think you are using the right character (as currently written) to do so.
If you choose to use a forced feminization element as a punishment element rather than another 'Ella' situation, then you should probably make Elliot more of a villain, since it feels really cruel otherwise. So what do I suggest? Well you already have two other characters that could 'deserve' such a punishment - Ronnie and Brad. Using one of them would free up Elliot to have a more reluctant transition story rather than the current one, i.e. Elliot was already leaning into the trans direction but was just to scared of Romi's reaction or something like that.
As I see it, if you still want Elliot to get punished, perhaps you should have him do something in College worth such cruel attention. Like maybe the MC caught him trying to plant some cameras in the woman's locker-room or hacking into his classmates phone/computer to steal private pics/videos (playing off the illicit Romi photo angle), or maybe just merge him with Ronnie so that it feels more natural that the MC would do something that radical.
Yes, this is a porn game and sometimes logic needs to fly out the window, but your writing is usually so good that it feels that much more irritating that Elliot's story has gone the way it has. In the end, I am still very grateful for your efforts and I am very much looking forward to the next update. Thanks very much for your hard work!

I haven't played the other game you reference, but think it is worth noting that the MC in this game is emphatically not a nice person. Practically none of the people he targets for his abuse deserve their fate. He is a villain, and what other people might deserve matters very little.
If the same MC has previously been portrayed as a sympathetic character, I can see the disconnect of course.
Well, I can't exactly say the MC was a saint as shown before - he did hypnotize his intern in "Oh Hyp-no!", but it was more portrayed like he was probably going to get with her anyway, and was just shortening the time frame... and he ultimately did wind up helping her get over her personal insecurities and arranging for her to get her dream education. He also 'punished' his next door neighbor, a mega-bitch and made her into mostly a healthier person.
In this game, the same thing can be argued for most of the subjects (mother becomes more confidant, older sister is nicer and has a stable paying job with a chance at a real relationship, etc.) assuming you play the 'good' way.
By the way, you should give his other games a try - they are really good! They are less 'games' than kinetic novels, but I think they are still worth the time.
You know what? I actually agree with all your points here. I've been thinking something similar with Elliot. There are a few reasons I chose to go the way I did with Elliot but the further I get into writing the rest of the characters the more the tone of his story is kinda not fitting. The arc of MC is that in game one he is a "nice guy". In game 2 he gets a taste of power and abuses it, at least with Val. Then in game 3 he has little or no resistance to using the app on people to get them to do what he wants. Even in the private arcs he is significantly fucking with peoples lives.
He does some good a long the way but even much of that is stuff that the person at the start of his manipulations would never have chosen for themselves. Karlee ends up in a relationship in her private arc and seems happy, but that's never a life she would have chosen for herself. India's private arc will end with her in a place that is happy and comfortable for her, but would have horrified the woman she was at the start of the game.
I wanted a character even in the private routes that would show this more explicitly but I agree that it doesn't quite work with Elliot (i think maybe the Dean will serve this purpose better once I get to her). I've mentioned on here before that I plan to give Romi and Elliot arcs separate from one another in the future. I think the way I'm going to address this is to make Elliot's solo private arc more of what you suggest above, a skiddish but willing transition. In retrospect I should have started with that, but I'd prefer to finish this arc as is rather than leaving it half finished to start the new arc.
Also if you don't like this arc I would maybe pass up on this months update, at least the Elliot/Romi part. Elliot is going to have a bad/good time in this one.
I got a wall of bug reports from my testers to go through so it might still be a day or two before 0.11 is out. It should be before Friday though.

Update 0.11 has not been posted here yet, so I assume that you got it from SubscribeStar. You should also have received a link to the Image Pack 2 (0.10-0.11) that contains the new images. Extracting that image pack in the same location as the main game file should allow you to see all missing images.
Looking at the comments on the Mopoga page it seems like this might be because of something the uploader there did. If you hold tight a bit I've sent the links to 0.11 to the uploaders here, it should be up once they get around to me in the que.
