this is exactly why i didnt really wanna share this update. Mostly cause Smug made it clear this is far from any kind of finished animation and obviously i didnt wanna be trolled by a watermark. At this point I might just enjoy any future updates myself until final release if this how this thread ends up every time.

Sometimes people demand too much from Smug. Please continue to provide updates whenever possible.

With all due respect to the author and his hard work, this looks very disappointing. Work on this project began in the summer of 2024, and what we see in the end is one or two unfinished animations a month for 5-10 bucks, and there is no hint of the project being completed, a video that will be 2-3 minutes long at best, and there is also post-production and voice-over, it's a shame. well now i feel little bit bad about these leaks. they're great animations for sure and i am glad to be able to see em but it's sad to see em ask leakers to stop

I just read ppl complaining in the thread and now i understand why you just posted the images. Its so sad to see ppl complaining about smug, even more so bcuz they dont do art 24/7, they have a life and a job and stuff to do. Also complaining about something you get for free is fucking insane dude lol. With that said, hope to see more from smug in the future :> (Loved the new arts too ty for the share)

I will say I knew NOTNING about smug working outside of the work so my complaints are completely flawed and I’ll take full accountability for that.

I find it funny how a single person's fault is everyone's consequences. Fair in a way, yet kinda not what I expected it. Of course people will light their torches for those who caused it.

I only wanna ask, if that works for you Doodoo. That when the next update comes, we get to see the wips as they are. As an artist myself I find it exciting the progress of a project even in the smallest things.

Saying it in the most kind, polite and professional way I know of. In addition that I'm updating the mega folders on my own and have some exclusives people haven't acquired/left in the shadows/straight up deleted from their versions.

(I also got to update the Word file with the Lore and character personalities, physics and powers, etc. But that will taken care of later)

I completely agree I may not be happy with every update but that doesn’t mean I’m ungrateful to those who spend their money and time to give it to us and I would enjoy seeing even the smallest updates. But are you currently working on the mega updates I would love to see if I’ve missed any updates

if I don't share an update it's either i didnt reup a sub or I just don't feel it worth sharing due to it being low quality/mostly unfinished. Smug and their community are becoming increasingly annoyed with leakers like me so its becoming hard to justify my own support while posting here. All that being said I still want to share work worth sharing in my opinion. I still will encourage real fans to do one month sub at least. You'll get two updates minimum and discord access forever.

Its more than one person and its constant at nearly every update. It sucks knowing im going against the wishes of the artist and their community by sharing here already and then I have to see ppl complaining about free content anyways.

Now what do we consider as "complaining" there always will be people who complain about everything no matter if its paid or free but I seen many times that if it isn't positive its automatically labeled as bad/complaing no matter how it was said, so is it considered complaing because you don't like it (or maybe even like it but [insert something you don't like]) and got it for free or it stops being one when you pay for it or is it still because the response isn't fully positive.
The art is great and I think when it will be finished it will be really good but this is a fact that it is taking a long time

in my opinion its even fair when the work is incomplete as it could help the artist in realising what might be changed for the better but it doesn't exactly matter what people say here as the artist won't see it (maybe for the better idk really)

I'm not the same guy from the old mega, this is a new one from scratch, planning to have it both by release date and other by sequence order. Extra help is greatly appreciated, specially when lurking for older wips.

I do understand about the situation at bay and yes, it sucks but I have 2 major issues that prevent me from supporting Smug.

1 I will never be able to afford it due to my currency not being USD, which means nearly a salary of payment to get that month alone. And 2, my involvement in this place,.
that's why I prefer that things would be better if were done in a exclusive server where we're gonna be sure that no art will be at rule34 and trusted people can enjoy the progress and restrain to spread it around.

If you ok with this Doodoo I would like to dm and discuss things further or maybe brainstorm another possibility in order to prevent this from happening again.
