What is the problem with people posting it to rule34 and spreading it? Does it become harder to do the leaks if people share them around? Or is it just to gatekeep the content?
Legitimate question, I'm not criticizing or anything. I don't understand much about these sites like f95zone. I believe I've seen people complaining about stuff being on rule34 before on some thread, but I don't get why that would be a problem.

It does read like gatekeeping to an extent. The “secret club” of sorts. Could be to prevent further spotlight on a creator to stop them from putting up passwords, scrutiny, or raising tier prices, but I don’t see any long term benefits by keeping it exclusive

It’s usually good to have multiple sources so you won’t end up with lost media

Artists deserve to be compensated for their work if they wish to be.

People who don't pay don't have the right to complain about the creator (as often "morally superior people" say on this website), but they have every right to complain about the stupidity of the people who keep supporting them. I hope for the people actually paying this guy that we'll get something good soon from this talented but slow, unproductive and probably lazy artist (or not, they kinda deserve it).

I'll go away now, no need to answer me with your do-goodism or your rhetoric of mercy for unproductive creators who ask people for their hard-earned money. That is why I love this website.
(btw mods can delete this comment, I don't care, I still think and often outright say the same thing for every incredibly slow, unproductive and/or lazy artist)

It's sad that this thread is 10% content updates 90% bitching and moaning. Can we get a discussion thread so people have somewhere else to complain?

I see. I agree it is better for preservation of this kind of content, and it also ends up being more convinient for people interested in seeing it when there are many sites were the content is available.

I am not sure if there is much the artists can do to stop leaks other than requesting take downs on some sites or trying to make the leakers lives a little bit harder. So at the end of the day trying to keep the leaks hidden doesn't seem to me would make much of a difference other than just making it harder for people who want access to this stuff to find it.


Also, does anyone know if this thread is currently the only place where people are leaking smug's work? I haven't really found anything in other similar sites.
If people are going to move from here to a more private discord server to share the stuff it would be nice knowing if there are more people leaking the content out there. And even if the leaks continue here, I've been following the updates here for a while and it feels bad knowing that the updates might just stop some day because of drama from leakers and/or other members (no offense). So having more alternatives is always nice.

Yeah, it can help attract new fans

The only other site that I know is Kemono, but their Subscribestar importer has been down for some time now. Safe to say at this point it’s never going to get fixed

This place is ment for that. whole point of the thread. If they don't update here, hopefully someone else does. The animation about to be generational. Smug past stuff is picking up traction because of the past posts with penny.

Yea i had no idea about them before penny×glaceon. Im gonna be real their art is great and penny×eeveeloutions is as potent as crack xD
