3 years of research and the best they could come up with was Warioware with some Rock, Paper, Scissors.

But also in those 3 years never thought to add in screen resolution options or adding keyboard controls as an option.

Are you sure? To me it doesn't look like one or the other. The face and anatomy are clearly male, possibly an orc but I'm sure this thing would be rejected even at Mordor's borders.
