Why tf does the mod change shit that does not need to be changed? It locked all my shit ffs. The instructions are hella unclear, tf you need to manually click every single thing. I thought clicking them removed it. If the mod already knows what I have unlocked why not automatically keep unlocked instead of forcing me to manually do shit. Christ all fkn mighty. Like wtf needed to be changed in how things are unlocked????
The mod adds multiple variables throughout the game, which are used to record whether a scene has been unlocked. Which allows for more freedom when coding stuff for this mod, unfortunately I couldn't find a way to automate the process so it has to be done manually. Don’t worry though you haven’t lost your unlocked scenes the game is simply using a new variable to track which ones are unlocked. I can help you solve this issue
- Load your save
- Navigate to the map
- Press the Status button
- Press the “Reset all names” button
- Type “debug”
- Press enter or ok
- Now press the “Enter debug code” button
- Type “debug mv141”
- Press enter or ok
- Restart the game and it will give you the option to unlock the scenes you've previously viewed again
- To remove the debug option from the status screen type "debug false"
I hope this helps, The feature is used on the character screens to show which scenes have been unlocked/viewed, I did this so it's easier for people to see which scenes they have watch, I was planning on adding the feature to the replay gallery in the menu but never got around to doing it. I've never been 100% happy with how the feature turned out one of the reasons is because it drastically extends the time it takes to update the mod. The mod works fine but is really difficult to maintain, if I built it with all the knowledge I have now it would probably be a lot easier to maintain, but that would also involve removing a few features which I don't really want to do. So I think I'm done with the mod, I'll update it when/if any new game updates are released though.
