I haven't played it yet but I've been watching updates since it was first posted her. Looks really promising. Wish you luck on development!

At the beginning of the campaign after getting the egg the objective is to then hatch it but I can't make it over the large gap to get to where I need to hatch it. Am I just missing something or can you not get over it by dashing?

You need to crawl, if you aim at the hole you will see a notification for "Crawl"

No I was out of the cave. It's fixed now but what happened was I reloaded in the cave and that somehow made the levers to summon the flying bug disappear. Restarting the whole thing and not reloading fixed it

Wow these checkpoints suck. I couldn't get through the second shield after getting the bug power, dashed, fell off the edge and now I have to do the cave all over again. Please add in a save feature or better checkpoints

What do you mean by better checkpoints? They are placed like 3 minutes apart from each other

It took me more than 3 minutes to get through the cave and when I died outside of the cave after completing it I was back at the beginning of the cave and had to do it all over again but I somehow had 2 powers

Pls report the parasite not going thro issue, it never happened and I want to know what's going on. Are you close enough to the barrier when you released it?

So, I played through the initial level where you acquire the rifle. Got to the end where you have a cut scene and then my keyboard and mouse quit working entirely. The LEDs turned off and I had no input. I'm not sure if that's an issue with the game or what. I did some google searches and can't find any issues like this. Any insight would be appreciated.

When you customize the character in the menu, are you clicking the to save?

Hair color is now working, updating the build.

Did that happen in the tunnel? Or when you finished the entire level?

I got to this orange bit, hit E to interact and then she ended up laying on a wooden floor where i needed to hit E to progress the dialogue. That was when the inputs cut out and I couldn't get any further, couldn't tab out or anything.

How did you fix it at the end? PC restart? This is weird I've never seen it, but I'd suggest to try again to see if it's going to happen and report back, so I can investigate further

First off, I appreciate that the Dev is active here and listening to feedback. That is one of the main reasons I have not given up on this game. Second, I think this has potential with some creative ideas... but it is a long way from a product that I would pay for. I have some feedback that I give in the hopes it can help shape this into a better experience, not merely to complain. Much of it, at this point, is going to sound negative. I'm sorry if it comes across as merely that. My aim is only to help, and I hope some part of this does.

Bugs
  • EDIT: This was a mix of my game accessing an old save without me realizing it, and it not triggering an event as a result. Dev met with me on Discord, figured it out and had an update (3.5c) uploaded within minutes that should prevent others in the same situation from getting the same bug in the future. Most impressive. Original post: This update (3.5b) seems to have broken the game. In the Campaign, after the cave section, when you are first released into the open area, there is no way to proceed. The jump to the story path to too long to make even with quadruple dodge, and there is no lever to call the transport bug. The only other path leads to a pit with an "Explore" prompt. Interacting with the prompt leads to a black screen so long I thought the game had crashed, followed by the character appearing dead of the floor of a cave. Nothing could be done from this screen except exit to Main Menu and start over completely. There is no Save/Load screen or option to load a checkpoint. Dying from an unsuccessful jump leads to a prompt to load a checkpoint, but still takes you all the way back to the beginning, instead of the start of the open area. This is just frustration that will cause people to quit and not return to your game. Especially if they paid for this on Steam, you can expect to get review bombed. Did you test this before releasing it?
  • In the caves, I could inadvertently run past the prompt to "Crawl" and run down the crawl spaces with my head clipping through the map. Not all the way, but until the space narrowed further. Either remove the prompt and automatically make us crawl, or force us to stop and use the prompt.

Feedback
  • The Campaign is statistically where most new people will start, to get a feel for the game. It starts us off in a cave with no explanation as to why, how or what. An intro cinematic or some form of setup would make sense here. The path takes us immediately to a fork in the road, with the right option being a pointless dead end. Optional paths are fine, but reward us for exploring. Otherwise, at the start of a game where players are still determining their interest, keep us on task. Wasting players time right at the start is a bad first impression that you will then have to overcome. Most intro sections are focused and predominantly linear to get the player up to speed and cement their interest. Remove needless paths and put them later in the sequence of events when they have something to offer, or make them worthwhile. Also, adding something to make the crawling sections less boring would be good. An enemy scurrying in the darkness ahead of you, for example; but only as a singular event, don't over do it. The second time we have to crawl, let the enemy catch up to us and do something that gives us the idea the bad guys have naughty intent. Don't go straight to sex, but some groping with reaction dialogue would set up the erotic scenes to come.
  • Confusing enemies. This is an Erotic game where being caught by the enemy is the main (only?) method of seeing sex scenes. Only the enemy doesn't consistently capture you, but instead more often kills you. Especially for the first encounter, this is confusing. All dying the first time does is teach the player to avoid or kill all enemies, making it far less likely they will discover the capture mechanic and resulting mini-game. Make our first encounter with each enemy type an automatic capture, or give us a method of determining a "horny" or "hostile" enemy. For instance a red highlight for hostile, and purple for horny. Even better, create a mechanic for making the enemy horny, that also rewards more loot after a successful interaction. Teach this (and all) mechanic as soon as we get to the open area. EDIT: Existing system does allow you to hit the "Interact" button after being attacked, that will cause the enemy to capture and access the H scene & mini-game. It is a small prompt in the upper left corner that is easy to miss on higher resolution screens. Dev is working on ways to better communicate this, or potentially alter.
    • Side note: The first tentacle enemy is placed at the entrance of the crawl space. Towards the end of this section, when crawling out right before going up the rope, we are still in the crawling animation and cannot prevent getting hit by the enemy. Either remove enemy at this stage, or rework to not be in the path during animation or directly thereafter.
  • Timed dialogue. This seems pointless. This is so far off to the side, I don't even notice it until it is disappearing, especially at higher resolutions, like 4k. Why does the dialogue need to be timed? Is there actually gameplay effect for for successfully choosing a certain response inside the timer? Please remove this, or at least make the timer longer and the fact we have a limited time to choose more obvious. EDIT: There is an option in Settings under Accessibility to force you to respond instead of making it timed. Still a bit buggy, but something.
  • Boss fights. The first "boss" is a spider that chases us around in an enclosed area. The area is too small to be able to effectively turn around and see where the enemy is or what they're doing. Instead we run around in circle, up the stairs and off the edge where we have a brief second to turn and shoot while the spider has to turn and go back down the stairs (apparently giant spiders can't jump). Boring. It is good you have added crits and a stun mechanic. This is a step in the right direction, thank you. It is also good that it tears clothes off, which helps keep us interested. That said, a slightly larger area with small areas of cover, and/or some boss mechanics would be an improvement. Again, this is our first "boss" experience, and while it should be simple, it shouldn't be brainless or boring. I don't want to get screwed by a spider, but it could trap me with some webbing and let me get molested by the tentacles as an intro to the battle.
    • The second boss fight does a better job of giving us an arena with room to see what we're doing. At least it did last update; unable to get that far this update.
  • The body Customization options being in the "Store" took me a bit to find. I expected these would be a Tab of the loadout screen, or something similar. A nit pick for sure, and not a bad thing. Just thought it could be labeled or located better.
EDIT: Playing on 14700k, 3080ti, 128Gb DDR, Win 11, 4k@120Hz max setting. FPS are smooth and consistently at 120 cap.

Let's first address the most important thing that is this bug - What do you mean by there's no lever? I've just tested it and the lever is on the right side of the screen, do you mean it's not interactable?

Also just want to add something quick - the dialogue has an option to NOT be timed in the settings, which is turned on by default and you have to press "E" to progress, perhaps you come from a very early build where that was not a thing and it was not saved that way, but you can turn it on in the settings now.

I verified this was the 3.5b build and not an earlier build. I also started a new game and did not try to use a previous save. Below is the screenshot from where we spawn immediately after the cave section. Ahead is the uncrossable gap with no lever. Behind is the path that leads back to the cave entrance that caused the black screen and death I reported earlier. I originally thought this was an optional area, since we didn't spawn next to it when we came out of the caves, but further down the path.

EDIT: Where is the setting to remove timed responses? I went back through the settings and still could not find it.
