I don't understand how you guys are OK with gAI being used in the work. Like you can literally just generate your own S7 shit right now if that's all you wanted, that's the main thing about gAI, literally just cobble together some shit from CivitAI and you have your own titty drawing machine with equivalent output to whatever SU is gonna shit out if they proceed with using gAI in the project. You even get to circumvent the waiting for the dev part, AKA the main problem with SU.

Like genuinely, if gAI output is the quality you're OK with, you already have an infinite amount to your disposal, why the fuck would you want for them to slowly release it to you?

You do know you can run SD locally, right? Like that's what the devs are doing. Just do that shit yourself.

It's one thing when someone who can't paint uses A.I. to have pictures painted. The pictures are still full of mistakes at the moment. They look good at first glance. But once you see the mistakes... ...they can no longer be made unseen. Such mistakes, however small they may be, spoil any enjoyment of the pictures.

But if an artist is supported by an A.I., this can speed up the work process enormously. The artist can correct these mistakes. At least if the artist cares about the quality of their output. I'm confident about that. Something Unlimited is certainly not so popular because the artistic presentation is so ugly.

I'm more worried that the installation size of the game will skyrocket.

I presume they're joking considering how much SR7 has railed against AI in the past. I suspect this thread wouldn't believe them regardless.
Is this bizzaro SR7

SR7 has said that if AI can make his job easier he would use it.
Like if he can make animations with AI he would do it
Hell didn't they say bend or break 2 would have ai voices?

I thought that the hard part was coding the game or writing. Also I don't see how they can do the outfit systems with Ai well, it's very bad at consistency and can be surprisingly quite time consuming. I'm maybe wrong, but I don't even see it really a big lead in content, and honestly from what I saw made with Ai in the forum I think sunset art is better, it's not as "flashy" but it feels better, like you feel the intent and is more consistent which is more exciting or immersive.

As a player if I see Ai art now, and poor updates like the last one, I'll just stop being excited about updates, which was already hard. But really how can you care if the dev doesn't care enough.

The main appeal to the game was for me the bordello mechanics in the first part of the game and the art. Now the updates aren't adding or fixing anything about those like the (Wonder Woman metabordello content??), and they want to use Ai to make the same thing but worse. Honestly a shame, but not surprising.

May has been an insightful month for us, and we're hoping to establish a steady rhythm soon. With consistency, we anticipate more regular releases. Currently, our focus is on June, ensuring we meet all our internal targets, including a build release at the end of June.

Themyscira illustrates the pitfalls of poor planning and rushed implementation. Developed before our direction shift last July, it highlights the consequences of rapid idea execution without concern for scope. Despite the challenges, we’re committed to finishing it and delivering more content soon.

Production Role

We recognized the need for a dedicated production role to manage the numerous moving parts and ensure long-term planning. This role has significantly improved our processes, giving us confidence in meeting deadlines and completing projects. Every month is now seen as a potential release window, which is promising for everyone.

Investment in AI

We’ve invested in a dedicated AI system to train our own proprietary models, recognizing the drastic changes in the AI landscape over the past six months. Here’s how we plan to use it:Reference Images: AI will generate thousands of images, saving time on finding the right perspectives for SR7's characters. This allows us to explore the idea of editing the images or using them as a reference.Alternative Backgrounds: Creating backgrounds typically takes 2-4 hours each. AI can generate these faster, significantly saving time.Prototyping: We’re developing a test environment to prototype new mechanics. AI will enable us to test ideas without pulling resources from content creation.
With our talented artist and unique art style, we’re well-positioned to leverage AI for larger updates and new narratives in the near future.

That was a whole lot of corpo speak in the first half, to brush off their mistakes of failing once again to complete this stupid event.

As far as the AI stuff goes, it just makes me wonder what exactly is the point of people continuing to pay them now. If you can get this level of quality from AI, on a faster basis, and with more creativity than SU has ever demonstrated, what exactly is unique about the game now? The fucking dialogue?

I don't know. I'm more curious about how they proceed as a business than anything regarding the game's content now.

Would it be crazy to think the reason themyscira got heavily delayed was because they wanted to focus on AI

Sorry, English is not my native language
The following is translated by Google

People just want to see your art style
Instead of leaving it to damn AI
I only want to see heroines or more slut clothing styles
Why use AI to handle these art styles?
If that's the case, why do fans pay to subscribe?
In this way, others or myself can use AI to do it myself.
Why do people need to pay to subscribe to your content?

No matter who you are or where you are - everyone can see that's a whole load of bullshit right there, in a plain sight. That's on some really astonishing levels of profound retardation I've never seen before. And giving your subscribers that pay your check a whole "WE MADE MISTAKES" ™ speech is just ridiculous. When you say that "we are making the ending for the whole event" that's what people expect you to do - to finish the damn event, which means finish everything with all the characters provided. And that's not what happened. "Boo-hoo, we didn't made it but WE SWEAR WE HAD SO MUCH COOL IDEAS"... Get a load of this guy. Have some decency at least be honest with people who give you their money.
