Although it doesn't sound as bad as other games here on F95 (like Operation Lovecraft and MGI lol), I gotta say, this business model of paying for production rather than for product is getting increasingly fucked up.
I know about Operation Lovecraft and love it :3 But what is MGI? Is it good?

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Well think about it.If they released a regular update NO ONE WOULD BE ANGRY
At this point Sunset could deliver his patrons a turd wrapped in a bow-tie and they'll open their wallets and beg for more.

If you have the aptitude for it strike while the iron is hot, I doubt this hustle will last another decade. 17K/mo before taxes for only a dozen or so hours of productivity. The money prints itself.

"testing is taking so long"

lolwut?

Judging by the amount of spelling/grammar mistakes that still exist YEARS later and black screens that take no effort to find, I think the only testing being done is how deep the 'testers' and patreons can take it and not gag before swallowing the next load of BS excuses. At $17k+ each month, he could easily hire a programmer and spell checker who knows wtf they're doing and focus on the art.

Then the locals on the channel began to talk about how hard it is to be a developer of porn games, about crying pirates, about when there will be an update, then there will be, and "no one is forcing you to give money".

I don't know about you guys, but for me the only things that matters around SU are SW and Z's cell content.
After they are completed I may actually don't care about this game very much. The only things that are interesting for me are these two.

Monster Girl Island made by a guy who had like 10000+ patrons. Despite earning a shit ton he didn't hire anyone and had no release schedule whatsoever. So he worked real slow, in fact, we don't know if he even worked at all most of the time.
One day Patreon was like, boom no incest for you because the game had a pair of "sisters". Instead of complying, he just quit Patreon and was like "will tell you when done one day". But we all know it's actually "haha suckers I'm so rich now why should I still be making a game lol"
So, dead. Unless that one day is coming, but it's not.

I still got a stake in it for both of those you mentioned, WW and Catwoman.

I remember starting and getting to the end of that build with no WW, Galatea, Superwoman and Catwoman (the 4 I was looking forward to at the time of playing there) a couple others that got done only recently like Starfire/Blackfire but yeah most the "stuff that matters" feels complete with whose been in for a while (as complete as you can expect from SR7 anyway, what with a lot of earlier features just dropped).

Yeah, that tracks with what I am thinking as well. There is no development of the storyline, except to add more and more superheroines, following the same 'dance-spank-strip-fuck' routine. There is no plot, no path and no endgame. The concept is great, but the execution - over several years - has been lackluster at best. Its depressing...its like watching that Batmobile just appear in every small town parade, over and over again.

Its lackluster, tired and indicative that the devs are spending more time concentrating on how to spend their cash than investing time in making the game better. Yes, the rebuild from Fungus was a good idea, as the game was hitting its upwards limit in operability, but that's not really an improvement to the game. That is just them, protecting their cash cow.

Lots of podcasts where they skip the hard questions, bloated marketing attempts to push a scenario as interesting as watching paint dry [Wonder Woman's will broken? Please, there are over a dozen women also broken down in the cells, and at least they are marginally more interesting in how they break].

So...yeah, these guys have already left Creative Town. RIP, S.U.
