Stupid question Portrait Sets where do I find them?

So what do I think about this update........veryyyyyyy disappointed.
I am a very big fan of this game and I defended the game when it was the case but this update is weak maybe even the worst update ever. I still don't understand why????? the cheat system needed to be updated (rebuild???)

Now that the delay if finally done and after playing the update I can make my usual review.

However before we start I have some info from the creator's discord that might be useful to be posted here since I know the majority of players don't go there.

The remake was announced last year and it's was being developed by Locke, who at the time was a member of GunSmokeGames. It appears that he either massively underestimated the amount of work it was gonna take to remake the game, fooled SR7 & Smoke or was just lazy because apparently the only thing he has done after almost a year of work was the released demo.

Shortly after he left for reasons unknown (probably the remake) SR7 was left in a bad spot since the remake was already annouced.

So he is forced to redo the code of the game since at this point the chances of the remake actually being released are very low and even if it was, that's quite some time away.

All of that I gathered from my time in the discord channel and I vouch for most of it, but do correct if you think I'm wrong.

Now, about that update, the update who got delayed over a week, the update that kept being delayed with an infuriating low amount of communication.

For the lazy: Huge fucking delay + lack of Info + OK content and no bugs = average at best 5/10

Well they did add Jinx, Ivy and Rose to the cheat menu so they are not random encounters. Maybe it had to be reworked so they could do that?

They just had to be added, they updated the cheat menu since there isn't (probably) going to be a remake anymore.

they dont intend to do animation atm there is no new animation content either

a lot of the animation was janky anyway so i dont see the point

The guy who originally was making the remake left, so it's not sure if the remake will happens, and if it does come out it will take a while.

Bad but i hope in this case they change some mechanics in GS and MB so it to be more user friendly to manage them

Is it just me? or the art for lois kinda different than last time?

As for the other content, all we could do is just wait ...I guess,
since for this version, most of them just updating the old codes, and less about the the content itself.
Do hope they'll update the animation soon, when all of these finished.

They had to rebuild a lot of stuff to rework the cheat menu etc because the game hadn't been changed in years and desperately needed a rework. They had to focus a lot of time on quality of life stuff with the game. Now that its done quit your complaining and just wait for the new update

Is there an updated walkthrough? both walkthroughs seem to be a couple versions behind, im mostly concerned with the yacht stuff and after. How does it work? I can only bring one person? is it repeatable?

Honestly if I was them i'd stop releasing updates and just ditch the old shit codebase and create the remake, do weekly posts about what each dev has been up to that week and maybe even new art here and there. While they're at it they can do polls about features or stuff they're about to work on and then make changes people want if they think its good.

Honestly if they stop releasing a game that they never actually release properly anyway they wont lose that many patrons, especially with updates on the remake, polls and art.

Knowing when to quit is smart, quit working on the shit code-base and go fresh. Hell if they need more devs i'd lend a hand
