Consistency is not a word I would associate with SR7. His track record is awful.

F95 is not filled with projects that get 32 grand an update. He's fallen behind an entire update this year which actually makes it a hair under 50 grand an update. You really think the only update we have so far plus this one is going to justify the 100k paid to make it?

I didn't say that. However, You can believe he's consistent all you like, but someone who's consistent wouldn't have delays that add an extra month (on top of the previous delays) every time there's an upcoming release. All I'm saying is given all the facts, consistency is a poor word choice. That's my two cents anyway.

It's going to be late, we all know this, and I wasn't complaining. For the record, it was SR7 who made the claim it would be coming this weekend (It's Monday already for me), so when it's late don't make a habit of complaining at the rest of us for complaining.

no it wouldnt. let alone the amount of effort for so little payoff. it would basically ruin the game. they have a cast of dozens of characters, they would have to either use a single voice for them all, or hire multiple people to do it.

All for something the vast majority of players would just turn off anyway.

as for "adding flavor" that only works if the va is well done, meaning expensive and time consuming to do.

you cant just pick a hooker on the streets and hope it works. voce work is not something that can be done fast.

and porn voice acting is fucking terrible too. everyone in subverse's cast voices like ass. so much over the top moaning. it's so fake and offputting.

Anyway they did hire Lock as a programmer. It didn't work out. Sun does the art, the writing, and the coding. He's said many many many many times in discord and on stream he thinks hiring more people is just going to slow everything down. Right or wrong it's just him.
