I mean sure, it would be good move from them to not hype things too much, but it would also be good idea for people to not go with the hype. Going with the hype leads to disappointment. Also the business model of Patreon basically forces them to try and add constantly new content, even if it would honestly be better in the long run for the game if they spent 1-2 updates for just fixing all the mess in the code.I think the main issue isn't just that it's mostly bug fixing and small additions. The main issue is that it was hyped up as a huge event for Themyscira and would be super ambitious! But they had to push it back.
If it were marketed to us as being mainly a bug fixing update, sure people would be disappointed at first but when the update is released we would have gotten what was promised.
Unfortunately SR7/GG have a tendency of biting off more than they can chew. It's awesome that they're trying to add stuff for us that's this big but if you keep underestimating the time and energy needed to complete said task then the result will be the same: delayed/incomplete update and a disappointed fanbase...
Sorry for the rant guys
But as i have said in earlier messages, they are amateur devs without good project management skills. So people should not be expecting too much out of them and should only support them if they are satisfied with the product. Free users like myself don't really have skin in the game and have really no good reason to be pissed off about it. Not saying we should condone bad and unprofessional practices either, but can't just gather up the energy to be too pissed off about it when there's so much more to be pissed off at.
PS. wasn't really a rant worth apologizing to be honest
