I think interest in this game has gone down the last few releases.nobody post the preview?
Reckon that's what happens when you compound not fulfilling promises with announcing you're going to use AI art.I think interest in this game has gone down the last few releases.
It used to be that people were exited about it, but the ever increasing delays, and now art shift has probably caused people to be 'meh' about it.
Yeah, this is a pirate website and for the dev that is great news, but the last year I've seen people be way more exited about what fanart was released than the game itself.
This is a pretty common thing for amateur artists where if they aren't able to actually improve their drawing ability they either start hyper-exaggerating boobs/butts/dicks or veer into depicting increasingly degenerate acts. Or both.I really liked this game at the beginning, but I don't like the recent changes where the female bodys getting bigger and bigger. The breasts and butts are getting bigger and bigger and so are the muscles and body sizes. I miss the variety from the beginning.

This gets me wondering if the devs realized that ai art isn't as simple as writing some lines together (if you are teaching the program yourself) I mean hell they couldn't even make a mock up to show patrons why it's useful and ripped it off some image on a other thread on this siteReckon that's what happens when you compound not fulfilling promises with announcing you're going to use AI art.
Wait, did they use an image from the fanart thread to showcase their use of AI?This gets me wondering if the devs realized that ai art isn't as simple as writing some lines together (if you are teaching the program yourself) I mean hell they couldn't even make a mock up to show patrons why it's useful and ripped it off some image on a other thread on this site

*cough* the game is 8 years oldTo be fair, SR7 isn't an "amateur" artist. He's been drawing rule34 content for a very, very long time, pretty sure it's well over a decade at this point.
Yeah, and he drew comics and fanart for years before that.*cough* the game is 8 years old
Very, very, and I stress, very bad coding.why's the game 12 gb? animations?
Bad coding doesn't lead to a massive storage increaseVery, very, and I stress, very bad coding.
12 gb? It's less then 5 gbwhy's the game 12 gb? animations?
Which version do you have? I'm looking at the last version I played a while ago (2.4.1) that for some reason I still have extracted and it is indeed close to 12 GB (11.3 GB in my case). The downloaded archive on the other hand is less than 5 GB12 gb? It's less then 5 gb
the zip file is like 3gb but when you extract the files its like 12gb12 gb? It's less then 5 gb
It’s all the paperclips and chewing gum they added to hold the program together. The weight adds up, you see.Bad coding doesn't lead to a massive storage increase
I'm no artist, but what you're saying feels right to me. The art shift feels like a conscious choice rather than a degradation. The difference between the new and the old is too severe for it to simply be degradation of style. This is a conscious shift in artistic style to facilitate faster creation of content and to pander to the support base he and his partner have cultivated. What we're seeing is a decision to cut away as much variety as possible, where the only body types are busty, bustier, and even bustier with muscles. Even if we ignore the fact that he's copy-pasting characters together resulting in deformed monstrosities, or that Lex has a telescopic dick that in some scenes looks only slightly larger than average and in others is like a foot and a half long and thicker than a can of coke, or that he's stopped maintaining a consistent design across content, the fact of the matter is that he's reduced his art style of a "one size fits all" take on the characters where the resemblance to the DCAU originals ceases outside of their faces. This is too specific and targeted of a shift for it to actually be degradation.
No, it can lead to that, if you don`t optimise you initially high-quality pictures. You may go to the https://f95zone.to/threads/something-unlimited-online-gallery.138841/ page on this forum to see how big in size the pictures in the SU areBad coding doesn't lead to a massive storage increase
