That's news? Most of these developers try to enslave their audience by earning a lot and doing little. You can see the big games here, there are many patrons and a lot of money occurring a month. What do you prefer, do the game quickly and finish or keep giving few updates and receive that amount for months until it lasts for years? Just if you look at Summertime Saga, they get 60,000 per month and could very well do more than a simple update every two months. 60,000 dollars is a lot of money and I can't even imagine that much what I could do. I would have a totally relaxed life, I would enjoy life a lot .. it turned out to be a gold mine. And then they put their games up for sale on Steam.

From the way another game is developing, you won't see innovation in SU very early. It will be the same as one user said above, new character, old character being completed ... no adding a new gameplay, no reworking, without an adventure...
I think there is no need for sound/music as it will be a repetitive song that you will later mutate.
So it's even worse. There are many games that could have a more advanced progression, but as I said before...
You know, I'd like to see how much it'd cost if you comissioned one of these games and paid professionals by the hour and then managed it all with your free time and then tried to sell it in the market. After all, it's cheap and easy and shouldn't take long and you can profit!$$$

People really have no idea what kind of work shit like this involves. How long you think it takes to do a 20 page porn comic/manga? And most of these have story worth shit. Now try to expand the work on that exponentially and make the writer do it every month without stop.

Just because you did jobs your whole life that take no creative or mental effort and talent doesn't every work is like that. Not every work is mindless mechanical droning.

Writing a book/story is super easy says someone that probably wrote one essay with more than 50 pages in his life and half of it was just filling for space. "drawing doesn't take that long" say someone that probably have up drawing after the first horrible doodles and never saw the effort it takes to make consistent high quality stuff that's varied and unique.

The argument about our income comes up regularly. Here is a little insight, we can hide that number, we choose to not! Our only care is to continue to deliver good content packed updates to SU, while growing our studio. Our Patreon supports our studio, not just SU.

I can imagine it's frustrating because people have this terrible tendency to underestimate someone's else work/effort and that goes doubly for creative work. There's a reason it's called creative work and not just mechanical work. You have to actually think what works, plan, revise, change plans, test out what works well within the framework you're searching for and a lot of time, if you're actually worth anything as a creator, you end scrapping ideas and attempts that didn't work out.

Then there's the management effort that a team takes. Everyone here knows the hell that is group work during high school/college. Now try to do that in a professional setting, with grown up who are being paid by the hour, with your subsistence on the line and even tighter deadlines. You can't just wing it and pray the teacher isn't paying attention if things don't work out. You lose money and your job if you fuck up.

Not to shill creators, but this is the type of criticism that is almost never valid. Some do explore the system. But... People know what they want and they are continuously paying supposedly because that's being delivered. But try to shit on someone because you think 5-60k/m is a lot to keep up a small business and have consistent output? Have you fuckers ever seen how much a business with two employees and the owner needs to make to be marginally profitable? It's not 5k.

You gotta pay taxes. You got pay bills that aren't just your single pad electricity and internet bill. You got buy your tools of profession. You gotta pay people good competitive wages. You gotta answer to different expectations. You gotta manage a team and see to the expenses the company incurred that need to be paid by that income. You gotta prepare for occasional disasters like a computer breaking, or other emergency expenses. A lot of time you're gonna have to pay an accountant, (that's actually obligatory under the law in some places), and in others you might have to hire a lawyer because that's how things work in the rule of law state, anyone can sue you and a lot of times they do. You gotta keep a healthy Working Capital so that cash keeps flowing and you don't need to borrow money if you come up short on any of these expenses. And sometimes you gonna need to borrow money and pay that interest.

Among other things. These are actual companies and not someone in their moms basement just getting money to pay a WoW subscription and but extra Doritos and Mountain Dew, people. Think like working adults and not someone from r/forexposure.

Also Gunsmoke gimme that Superwoman and Wonder Woman content asap or else I will buy my pitchfork. Just (half) kidding. But I appreciate the effort so far and the content put and you even doing a mini game involving my favorite psycho princess. Hope you go for something with more uh emotional/relationship depth for your next big project. I enjoy slave training stuff as anyone, but I prefer things with more complexity and involvement.

Ah, I see you're a man of culture as well.

I hope you're ready to be called a shill but I do agree with you. I think most ppl are this "annoying" about this is because they do care about the game but I guess the way they go about showing it is rather excessive.

I do think a lot of those that complain is because they care. But they complaint about content, speed as well, but they care mostly about content and quality. They talk about the work itself and it's flaws. Like the dude who complained about half assed updates and stuff. While I might disagree mostly, I can understand fully where he's coming from. I understand he cares and is invested. Then come fucbois who try to be red pill about how they see all the sheeple being fooled and those evil creators scamming people out if their money. Those add nothing, just smugness.

It mostly feels like there was a noticeable drop in quality since the Batgirl update and instead of them working on or completing things they're just leaving them incomplete. Or not focusing on what they should be focusing before adding random new stuff.

So what should we be focusing on?

There are many things in the game that make no sense, for example, catching Diana (WonderWoman) and then I raised her level to the max, so I put her in MB and then put in the cell. If I don't, I have to remove it from the cell, then do it all again (raise its level) and put it in the cell again. I think it's weird, wouldn't the game's proposal kind of "humiliate them"? Another example is Glamour, which in my opinion needs to be reworked in this requirement, I think that's super cool, but, I kind of feel it's empty.
Oh, I also forgot that there are missing back buttons in certain places, like in the lab when we raise the levels of the characters, every now and then we click wrong and we have to click on a character before we can go back to the beginning.
An adventure would be cool, I still feel a void in the prison event and a little (not much) of the yacht.
I think BatGirl is Ok, but Terra, Miss Martian, Vixen and SuperGirl you need to check it out.

Finish the heroines/henchwomens. Then add new content. If no kidding.
I'll put my two cents. Fans demand, and that's fine because they donate money. Why? Because there are no games of this quality (art style and narration). Fans (Patreon system) is your boss who requires you to fulfill your duties. There is no point in being offended. Just do not say that "no one is forced to pay." Then why was everything up to? For the sake of art?

Finishing existing girls before introducing new ones is probably a good place to start. Don't get me wrong, I really like Jinx/Rose and would love it if Lex took them in on a more permanent basis as henchwomen rather than as part-time girls, but there are still a lot of girls that we've been waiting forever for that it might be better to do first.

Exactly! We're just going to keep on doing what we do. Deliver updates to SU, and grow our studio.
Finish Galatea for one thing. She should have been finished alongside Supergirl like Cheshire was finished alongside Artemis. Instead she got two new outfits. Oh, and there was the one scene with Maxima and two new random characters. Which while nice-ish shouldn't have been included until Supergirl and Galatea was done.

Finish the Halloween event.

Finish Shiva: She's already halfway done.

If the update is about a character then focus on that character and if she heavily interacts with a villain finish her.

It would be nice if Zatanna, Black Canary, and Hawkgirl got some attention.

Stop adding random shit until you've finished the content for more of the characters in the game.
