First looked at this game years ago when it was called something else (ie before lawyers attacked). It was pretty bare bones and low content then so I've not been back. Looks like it's had some development since. Can anyone explain (since OP doesn't) how many girls have completed routes (as in some kind of sex scene that isn't just fingering/striptease/handjob/boobjob)?

This a very loaded question here, there a lot of people who would say that none of the characters are finished, but that'd be kind of a lie.

The quick answer is MOST of the women at least popular ones have at least 1 sex scene by now, MOST of them being in the "main game". The last few year's they've been focusing on isolated events where some old characters get extra scenes, some new characters get scenes, and over all a lot of art has been added since you last came. If it's a matter of wanting a lot of content, you'll be good with the game at it's current state, there is A LOT OF CONTENT.

The way the game is now, there really is no "finishing point" anymore, characters and events are constantly added, started, and sometimes expanded. Most of the herions you can capture have at least up to their Cell scenes and Strip Club scenes finished, I'd say about a 3rd of them have their Bordello scenes, and adding event scenes and random other characters and little interactions you have a pretty solid amount of scenes to grind and get, just don't get TOO vested in the plot, as it's mostly just there to give context to the sex scenes and rarely resolve in full or in "narrativly satisfying way".

So basically Gunsmoke has run out of DCAU ideas, and instead decided to just run with whatever the hell HBO is crapping out now? Oh good, can't wait for Lex to finally invade Westeros Apokolips...

Although, prolly not fair to hate on HBO, The Penguin tv series was pretty decent, if somewhat weird for being so embarrassed by being a crime show adapted from a comic book it can't even be bothered to mention Batman; but that's a critique for a different forum!

That's a Tough one Honestly On hand he was Running out of DCAU characters proper without it becoming a bigger Narrative mess, which I mean it could of been Explained in some fashion. then there's just a fundamental lack of knowledge on their part about Cursory Characters, it's just easier to work with characters from the live action shows cause well it's far easier then Grabbing the DCAU comics or knowing Obscure DCAU knowledge. like there isn't much if anything they could of done with Static Shock, Project Zeta, and I would of said or Batman beyond but they could of probably done something with batman beyond.

there other big thing is just the Limitations with the game and Unity, how it started created such a mangled mess of code that it effectively made it an uphill battle to add content for years. they tried a remake project that was suppose to fix the code which went no where and now they're just offloading stories and content into Individual Ren'py titles using that they want to go more Story driven, but I think it's more so they hit fundamental limitations with how they were doing Unity as it was drastically slowing everything down.

To be honest I Think the game Lost the Plot towards being able to Finish years ago when it could no longer achieve what it started out. there were a lot of aspects that never came to Fruition due to limitations which left a lot of left over parts that either had to be repurposed or outright abandoned. The Frustration of that plus the Frustration of constantly fighting with the game to just add content probably killed Gunsmoke's Enthusiasm.

He ran out of DCAU ideas years ago. Or did you miss how he included Harley Quinn from the shitty TV series, and Raven, Starfire, an abundance of Avatar characters in Themyscira, and the large amount of recycled one shot, borderline background DCAU characters instead of using characters people know. Something Unlimited has expanded grossly beyond its original brief in ways that vastly exceed SR7's limited imagination. The man should just put it to bed already.

Themyscira was gonna be done Feb, oops we meant narratively done in April. Halloween may as well not even had a release for how much nothing it was. We're going to get Killer Frost, Redclaw, Roxy, Sugar/Spice, Calendar Girl, Punchline, Lady Ventriloquist, and Montoya all added and complete to the penthouse/rooms this update? Not impossible, but no reason to be convinced they'll deliver on that.

I'll be surprised if it happens considering we're literally a month off of them failing on a promise to add content to the Halloween Event in the Ren'Py port, which amounted to a few images leaving characters still unfinished years later. It is, of course, not impossible but is definitely highly improbable that he adds every character you listed. Wouldn't that be more characters completed in single update than in multiple updates for Gotham combined?
