The notion that the “main game” hadn’t been updated because you don’t like the two events that are being released is the only “gas lighting” happening. They’re as much a part of the game as the yacht, prison, whatever. That’s just how the game is designed. You can not like it, it’s still the main game. The end of the game will almost certainly be an event too.
Hopefully we will see some Cassie and Donna Troy content for that. It's odd that they have had such a minimal role in that arc.
still kinda holding out hope for more stuff to be added in the base area away from the Iceberg Lounge because that place is kinda tedious to get content out you just click around randomly until stuff progresses

Im in the same boat, been more than a year since I really checked in on this game, wanting to give it some time rather than chase updates.
Now apparently there is another SU game that wont be updated until another project is done first? Not sure what this means for original SU, but hard to really understand anything with the amount of back and forth there is in this thread.
yh was the exact same thing i did was off this for a while. and have seen its been a year since this version got updated hope the project will be done asap so he can focus on the main game

There is only one SU game. The back and forth is people trying to misinform you on purpose.
This new project is a small game. Not meant to be big at all.
It's one game only in terms of content. In terms of code/apps, there's the unity version, gotham release, and now slowly reworked renpy re-release of Unity game.

for some reason it only plays once and can only be viewed in the vault after that, if remember i think you activate it by talking to her at night
