Hey, just had a question. Since AI is so prevalent nowadays, would you be opposed to using it not for making art, but for changing some scenes from static to animated or enhancing the existing animations?

I hope not. I really don't like AI and did not like the touched AI that was added to the game with one of those updates. What i like about Something Unlimited is the hand drawn art. I hope they don't go for AI art.

Great question. It's wild to think the worst AI ever will be is today, it just gets better and better.

But no we won't use gen AI. By and gen AI I mean generative AI. There is two key reasons why. First is sentiment. Just look at this thread and the people claiming stuff was AI without a shred of proof. The trolls weaponize sentiment to fit their narrative and they weaponize the mere thought of gen AI implementation. And second is consistency. Gen AI is getting closer with consistency but you can still gen 1000s images and no two will be alike. Hand drawn art wins there, and always will.

Where we wouldn't be opposed and where everyone is using it, is in workflow improvements. Think animation rigging, reference art, analysis, summaries, planning, etc. My gmail has AI summaries on it.

We have no plans to use gen AI at all.

That misinformation costs us a lot of money. So, if you want us gone then don't misinform people. Otherwise it's actually money well spent correcting the narrative here.

Thanks for the reply and for clarifying, I was just a little confused about the shift to renpy. I can understand why setting a fixed deadline is not the best for you guys. Hope it happens sooner too.

I'm going back to this game and I don't remember how I can assign a girl in the bordello. Looks like they are unavailable because they are in cells, but I don't remember how to let them go out of cell. I have every options unlocked for every girl (including special leash option) but no option to free them...

you need to downgrade the devices to allow them to go to the bordello. the same way you upgraded them.

Okay I just have to say it, the fact that the new project hasn't been out is kinda a defeat to this dev team in showing us how they can handle two projects because this new one has been eating away the dev time for SU now for 5 months and we are into the 6 with still the only news of "the new game is coming soon", reading the latest patreon posts and comments it seems that it isn't coming that soon as they have hit some roadblocks however the messasing from the devs are confusing so is soon but not that soon, it's almost done however 5 months and art assets are still at 80%? I just don't get it anymore, in this 5-6 months we could have gotten 2-3 SU updates and now it will probably be a miracle if we get one at the end of the year. I get missing estimates and miscalculating progress but that much? Like it is concerning, I'm no hater and wish them the best but c'mon you are losing goodwill from people that wanted better from you guys.

They cant handle more then one game but even then that one game still gets delays

I like the big muscles personally as someone who enjoys that look. But it should only be applied to girls where it makes sense which seems to be the case so far. The bolt-ons/balloon tits for every girl tho is def kinda weird tho

I agree, but I don't think it should be on every Amazon yes they're supposed to be big muscular women but I don't think all of them would go for the big muscular look I think a lot of them would probably go for a more lean and athletic look Diana looks like the type of Amazon that would prioritize speed agility and strength over just bulky muscles

I honestly never considered that game to ever be in development, yeah the devs put out some time ago a teaser but like in my mind it never seemed like a real thing just something to calm down all the people asking for that but was it really ever in development? I don't know about that.

is anyone else having trouble even getting this game to run? All the downloads are giving me some obnoxious error when even trying to extract the game from zip.
