Wow.. So will they add another new character? I keep asking myself, won't this bring more work in the future? So, won't it be harder for history to have an extension? I say this because there are mechanics in the game that are still deactivated or will eventually serve, such as "Threat Defense", robotics, powers, etc. I don't like talking about other people's work, I know how boring it is, but wouldn't it be better to focus on a story and then add new characters later? Yeah, there's still the old characters, there's Tala's cell... and if the new characters can be placed in the cell...

Don't let them get to you, brother. Old but true saying:
The people who mind don't matter, and the people who matter don't mind.
The bitchers on here aren't paying customers.
Yep, not anymore. Cancelled my donations when they turned bimonthly update schedule. Too bad i`m the only one. Mayby if people would stop paying money for shitty developers, they would start to work for theyr money. (sorry for bad english)

There's no inconsistency. You were told six fucking months ago, FROM THE START, what the window was. I shouldn't have to remind you of it every time I want to reference shit! Shit happens. If you don't like it, don't follow game development.

And you're not a customer. You're a patron. Learn the difference and adjust if need be.
Just go back to page 528 of this hread ..
Gunsmoke Games account stated on the 28th of may :
"We have an update coming out in 3 days. Let's swap focus to that please?"

Or we take the 2.2.2 release with, let me quote
"It was really important to us to get this update out on time and break the delay cycle, and decisions were made from the very beginning to that effect."

Or we take the Patreon Post "Cruisin' Right Along - Roadmap to 2.2.4
"The truth is, had we not started revamping the dev process in 2.1.9 and development still operated the old way, 2.2.0 would’ve quite possibly had to be cancelled entirely – or at the very least been much worse.
While from your perspective it may have seemed like things were dire, from ours it was more proof that we were moving in the right direction with the new process. Everything that could go wrong did go wrong, multiple times, and we only wound up a week late."

Then you go the last release, when was the bug free version with the content , on the 18th?

Alas the "game" has been around longer than the roadmaps and has an established "tradition" of not following schedules... and m any don't rust the team o deliver according to their own statements.
and as for the customer or patron.... it is still an exchange of money for "product" then agisan if we talk customers, and you got delays, would they have to sent back part of the donations if their own schdeules were not kept ....^^

Sometimes I wonder what's scarier.....politics or what happens in this thread when the update isn't posted on the first day of the release window.
Politics right now are definitely scarier. Cries from people with blueballs are not scary. I wish there were more games like Something Unlimited and Summertime Saga since with just the two of them there are big blueball periods.

By a few days at the most. Seriously, this has gotten old. At this point all the complaints have devolved into the worst kind of nitpicking. I don't even blame Locke for coming down in anger nigh-exclusively. There's literally nothing but vitriol (and 1000+ already answered questions and save requests) going on here anymore.

Can't even play 'Name the pokemon' in peace without panties getting in a wad.

if you dont like the game then leave.. youre just another JAFO.. just another fucking observer... you bitch about how youre not happy but have 0 substance to back up your bullshit
Actually, if that fool did the research, he'd see that moving to bi-monthly updates has resulted in 3x to 4x more content per update cycle on average. But a lot of these people just want to cling to whatever bullshit excuse they can to justify their piracy.

And Milfy City. That thread is a fucking warzone now
Which is to be expected. ICSTOR is a complete and total buffoon. "Hey guys, I'm 60% complete this update, but I need to take a break! Oops I forgot to turn off my patreon for the first month of my break. Teehee, I'll not start up my Patreon again for the first month of my return." *returns to work in the middle of a month* "I started back up in May. Teehee. Now I'm going to spend the next five months providing almost no communication unless I delay it. Which I will do at least four times... But to make up for that fact I'm going to add a fully new storyline that literally no one asked for, no one is interested in and I'll finish it!!! Oh wait, no I won't. I'm now eight months late from when I promised to release it and I can't even finish the extra content for the update. Teehee."

There's DC's slow pace on Summertime Saga, GSG's disorganization and lack of communication on SU, and then there's ICSTOR who is another thing altogether. He's literally never released a game that actually fulfills everything he promised and now he's claiming his latest update has over 60,000 words and thousands of "renders". Yessir, he wrote roughly 8% of the fucking bible for a porn game about a generic white guy and the family members who all want to inexplicably fuck him and are okay with him sexually assaulting them prior to that point. Something Unlimited, with all its problems, can't hope to match the last eight months of bullshit from ICSTOR.

Piracy you say? I`v payed for this developer much more than the cost of triple A game. Completed game. And now when i dont like changes and stopped supporting i`m a pirate? I would not argue validity of 3x 4x, but 3x to 4x bugged as F content. And mayby i`m a fool but developers should work harder to get my money. Anyway this conversation has no purpose. I stated my opinion in topic filled with fanboys, that was my mistake which i will not repeat.
