So I got my hands on the new update via patreon, as I liked ep1 a lot. Like general feel of the game was on the level of SG/Wiab, which was absolutely crazy to me. You know render quality, quality of lighting, small things like small renders to finish feel of scenes or characters that you actually give a shit about. You know exactly what I am talking about - the game just doenst feel like a run of mill of an avn.
But what surprises me the most is the absolute downgrade that happens in ep2. Like this in current state feels like either unfinished or flat out rushed:
- Renders with characters out of focus while talking
- Small renders are completely missing in some scenes
- During some of the more sexual scenes, the focus is not on the actual act (wtf ?)
- Repeated render usage for story purposes which on its own is not that big of a deal, but some of them are 1:1, including actual sexual scene, while not even trying to hide it
- Entire feel of the game suffers because of this, suddenly it feels like run of mill project that to increase play time, uses the same render to push a lot of dialogue out. Which I could forgive, but then again, the first EP put the bar so high that this is just dissapointing.
I dont want to end on negative note so I am gonna also say some positives about EP2:
- story progresses nicely
- writing seems to remain on the same level as in EP1, sometimes even surpassing it
- music selection is very good
- Anaise might the among the best looking girls in avns
