Downloading a 150GB mod of 0.26 that's presumably in Chinese. Fancy giving translation a go? Won't be downloaded for about a week though. Could do a quick machine trans first and then see how viable it is?
I'm starting to think that Avenger is coming to an end with SoaB as he's taking 6 months between updates now and his enthusiasm seems to be on the wane. If these guys have already forked 0.26 using the original models then it could be a starting point for a future expansion.

That's the sole reason I don't play the Chinese version. Way to large for my network connection. Take me like a month or more to download, been sort of playing around with Evil and Mother's Best Friend lately. MBF is well a mess, it's just trying to make sense of all the locations that is holding me back from doing that one much.
Sounds like Avenger is losing the other guy he does releases with. So he'll be doing two games at once and solo but it's also holiday season. So it'll be awhile before the next release I'm sure.

Badman or something like that wasn't it? He mentioned it on his blog good while back. No idea what his role was in it though, and how much extra work load that put on Avenger. Looking at past releases and such, it feels like Avenger sometimes get into a sort of "overdrive" and do a lot, get stuff done in a short time and then go into hibernation again for a while..
As for MBF, I think it's sort of a gem that halfway stuck in the mud
With a better translation it would shine more, and most likely give the player a better understanding of what to do "next" other than do a blind hide and search.

Presumably we can reencode some of that stuff and the Chinese have just done a poor job of it. If nothing else, I'll release a patch file between the mod and 0.26 that only includes new content

If you're in the states there's some pretty cheap 2TB drives for $50 online. I grabbed one to dual boot my system but I honestly haven't gone over to my Windows side in months.That 150GB version would be cool to play around with. Trying to buy some new hard drives. Actually looking to get some shuckable 10TB drives to throw into the NAS. Depending on how many I get I can also throw the old ones into my machine.

From what I read on the Chinese mod thread some of the scenes don't even fit with the dialog. Just sort of a mess with their version I believe but I honestly don't know if they added anything new or if they just replaced the videos.
Yeah, I've tried the European Chinese version. Clips are good quality with sound but don't really match the text/game. I think all they've done is chopped up some videos and replaced the existing ones. They have tried to at least keep the girls consistent in the videos though.
Edit: Reason I want to see the 150 GB one is the one I have is only 70GB or so.

Oh I don't actually use a dictionary or anything, don't have a Russian ip so it always quits early for me in qsptools.
