Yes, I'll need the latest version, just the QSP please. I'll take a look at this properly tomorrow.
Building the regexes for extracting the translatable things from a QSP file is a pain in the ass IIRC. Didn't you write something like this for SOA Lokplart in Python? Is it as awkward as I remember?
i did it for the previous two version, i had to combine something like 10/12 small python scripts to do it. the first extracts all the variables, the second extract the "russian text" except for variables and the other four create a database and import it. it takes a quite some time to import it but it works quite well (still needs few tweaks for the import, best workaround was to list the dictionary by lenght with variables on top) i'll be more than happy to share my knowledge if needed

The old QSPTools program was written in Java so can be decompiled but I remember looking at it once and thinking some of it was over-engineered and bonkers. But I think that about 99.999% of Java programs tbh. It was the worst excess of OO and MVC, creating this multilayered modular design of something that essentially boils down to three or four functions (i.e. read, parse, translate, write). But there's Service Managers and factories and all sorts if I'm thinking of the right thing (and apologies to the author if I'm misremembering)

The "problem" or rather the added complexity as you know is that a QSP file is code within code within code and the "rules" of what you want to extract/translate and leave alone are pretty variable across different games. Looking at the Awesomium engine games such as Tower and SoaB and Son of Asia compared to things like Girl Life or Jack and they may as well be different languages as they're so different to how they approach the problems. It just needs someone with a bit of time to sit down and really think it out to make a universal QSP translator which can use different APIs

my workaround for SoB was to "think dumb", i made a script to extract everything in russian 2 times (one for text and one for variables" then merge them into a list, translate it then merge original and translation into a dictionary. when the dictionary is done, just swap them from the longest line to the shortest (this is to avoid having a single word screwing the whole line). this method works for every file that's written in non-latin characters but it still requires some subscription to a translating service (SoB's more than 80k lines)

But unfortunately I have almost no time from next week on.
And that for the next 2 months :-/ That's why there is now a SOB_Alpha version.
Everything with the raw translation from DeepSeek.

Real life sucks

Special thanks to icewanted for the help with the translation.
PS. Yes, the rest will also be finished by hand.

Special thanks to Xorgroth for the SOB tools.

And to all the others I may have forgotten.

After covering, it is still in Russian, and there is no menu modification

Actually it is the English version. My guess is you have not replaced the start.qsp file with the one included in the download in the assets folder.

Using fast travel from cheats in 0.33 shows this error when we clicking on "Suburb"

This is because street_mira is no longer in the game.
I forgot to remove it, sorry.
I noticed it was labelled OLD and assumed it is superceded with suburb so I have just replaced street_mira with suburb and it looks OK from a quick test.

Awesome work by the way, would have done my head in.

Hi guys!
Forgive me my ignorance, but what is the latest walkthrough/guide(any language) for all characters available? The ingame has only 11 chars for 0.29/0.30 version, and its 0.33 already...
Also, I am not using any cheats, do they have any guides? Never played so can't say

I figured somebody would request an update by now since we already have a link and a translation. I guess I'll figure out the request thing if it's not done by the time I get home... Gofile much easier than mega for 5gb+

Edit: put up an update request.
