feels like it is inspired by it, maybe a bit of the setting is similar as well including the characters but i think that's it.

Heya, I'm the author. Was kind of wondering when this would show up on F95, heh.

To answer a couple questions I saw pop up:

1) Is this Evangelion?

The setting and story are my own, the images used are frequently Evangelion, some characters will feel like Evangelion characters if you're familiar with them. With an unlimited budget I'd have my own set of images/character designs, and the connection would be much more nebulous.

2) Do you monetize anything?

Nope. Everything is released for free, my Patreon is a tip jar that gives no perks. I do sometimes host testing versions on our Discord, though that's just until they're clean/complete enough to post publicly.
