Here's what I don't get about MTL. It makes sense to do it for action games and story light games because the important thing is to be able to read the action and abilities, maybe item descriptions too.

And yet games that mostly get MTL are RPGs. Which are games with a lot of text where story and dialogue is half the porn. And it's not like the people who do the MTL also care in the slightest about quality control so there are problems like text scrolling outside the screen so sometimes I can't even read 1/4 of the word butchery, and important things not being translated like the actions and abilities mentioned above.

same was happening to me here, i just installed 7zip, used it to unzip the file, then executed the game using locale emulator, sometimes it still happening but im saving a lot to avoid the error

RPG Maker games are mostly RPGs and quite frankly RPGM games are the easiest to translate. The availability of tools to work with mixed with the ease of access for translating them will lead most people taking a crack at it. Much like the reason you don't see nearly as many Unity games with straight up translations. Unity is hard to work with for the average consumer. Rpgm is not.

A question for uploaders and admins, is it possible to upload both the MTL version of the game along with the untranslated original version of games like this?, I like to make my own MTL through my software.

Sometimes the original files are left as backups in the files a translator provides. Only game that are in english (MTL or otherwise) are allowed for upload here. I can't speak for other uploaders but I would not upload an untranslated version of a game. If the files are already in the archive that is fine. There are plenty of places you can find a untranslated copy of this game if you need it.

Until that day, try Seed of Evil or Key of Egg...neither are perfect but getting there.

I changed nothing else other than DLing the Mega link instead of the NOPY one and played through the whole game without an issue. My advice would be to avoid or possibly even remove the NOPY link from OP.

Like I said the problem is on your end. Make sure you are using a locale emulator, or switch your locale settings on your computer to Japanese, The problem is 100% not the game.

It's the game as there was two posts about the error from the Japanese version. The MTL was done with the initial version of the game and it's missing the added content and the bugfixes from the latest version.

God MTL makes me so sad I tried but i couldnt last 5 minutes playing this. Looks amazing but imma have to wait for a translation

Tried Seed of Evil, not really up my alley. Not the worst but there are better ones. My main issue with it is the 800x600 res, keyboard controls instead of mouse movement and losing some battles will just straight up gameover you. All of those things are relics of the 90s or something. Havent checked out Key of Egg yet but it also looks a bit basic, I'll give it a try though. I have my little list of good preg games
