I wanted to know why there are 2 versions with separate translations, wasn't it easier to have just 1 version with the translation in the TL folder?

What an odd VN. You're apparently a human in Sonic's body, even reinforced externally with that the Amy date one, but also have obviously human skin/dick with not a hint of blue shown. The dev's also really not editing/culling his gens enough, there's a decent chunk of errors in them.

New update seems to have broken old saves, I tried opening the phone and it just brings up an error, it's fixed if I just start a new game but I do NOT want to do all that again, especially with skip disabled

Same problem, it happens to me every update, and it's super annoying because the game is getting pretty grindy now.

One thing I find strange is that the developer has to edit the original code to add the Portuguese translation, instead of using the files in the TL folder, so there's no need to separate the game into 2 versions.

So, if I try to flip through the phone past Rouge? The game errors out.

Also, it will randomly give me the 'You are tired' and the 'You increased X's lust and libido' in Portuguese?

Some texts have the code in Portuguese, it must have been left out when the code was passed from Portuguese to English

Oh that's funny.
I only like this Isekai style of character replacement if the hero COMPLETELY replaces the character and they actually do something funny with the premise. Like the MC absolutely fucking something up because he doesn't have nearly the same skill/powerset. Or him doing something that the character the MC replaced would never do, like nonchalantly killing a reoccurring villain.

Sonic Inflation Adventure does this. New Sonic sleeps around a bunch, murders multiple people, gets sent to prison twice, and basically makes everyone's lives worse.

apparently we are on the outdated version? and some things in the game tell us to download version 0.8..
there is v 0.9 though
oh! and a version with max money/stats too.
