I was waiting for this game to get some content before trying it and I was about to ask if this is worth downloading after all these years, but from what i see just on this page it seems the answer is no.

Comparisons between stuff like this and CDPR seems ignorant at best. The difference is that with companies like these AAA companies, the publisher end of things forcing developers to rush the project to meet a deadline and, even with the rare delay, they tend to still crunch workers regardless, leading to total messes like Cyberpunk.

Patreon-funded projects don't have the excuse of executives breathing down their necks all the time, thus, unless the devs announce any form of reasonable cause for any slowdown or halts in development, I don't blame anyone here making accusations of laziness for a crowdfunded porn game not getting any substantial progress made after 5 years. 3D games are arguably more complex, yes, but (alleged) use of pre-made assets should arguably speed up progress, so? :WaitWhat:

Changelog :
- Now we got a new name, "Sorceress Tale" ! Congratulations everybody! Better names to come next.
- Now, instead of her default clothes with panties, you have it without panties. If you want panties again, please wait for the next update.
- You can't use J or K to change your outfit type anymore. You're a sorceress, but you have a wardrobe, so please go there and stop being lazy.
- Added some glitches, like the 'endless jumping rabbit' symdrome if you try to jump and teleport in the right bricky area of the grate door.
- Added some CPU intensive tasks, so your 3d card won't be idle and you can be warmed.
- We are been decreasing her jump height just a bit, in order to be realistic. Don't worry, she can still jump.
- We removed the zoom using the mouse wheel. We will remove anything else soon, so stay tuned!

For you interest and for shits'n giggles.

Taken out of the actual changelog:
" - You can't use J or K to change your outfit type anymore. You're a sorceress, but you have a wardrobe, so please go there and stop being lazy."

That just sums it up.
Can you believe this guy?
Lmao. Stop supporting this.

Is the gallery file all the sexual content or do you have to play the game to experience all of it?

I remember supporting this 5 years ago for 2 months until I saw that little to no progress was made everytime, not only that but the dev kept remaking the map and the "tutorial" area.

I remember a time when Summertime released a good amount of content every 3-4 months, I remember a time when Curse of Pleasure got more than an update every 13 months, those were good times.

Sure we can, I've written a few personally, and not kind ones, as you can imagine. They are still up. You just can't make it the entirety of the review. But it is a factor. "It's a nice piece of game because these and these reasons, but it took 6 years to have maybe 15% done. We will never see it completed. Two stars."

If anything, reviews that are based on mUh PoTenTIaL should be banned with prejudice.
I am pretty sure I wrote something like you mention it - a complete review about the game but also the dev... my review had to be removed. Message was clear: review only the game - not the dev.

This was about another game - to be fair its some months ago and I can'nt remember which game it was... maybe it was slaves of rome... dunno. Anyhow - it is good if you made a different experience! So maybe I will try again. :)

The most suitable projects always fail.
This menu through the tab is inconvenient and crooked every time.
All the controls are crooked and uncomfortable, what the author thinks is unclear, most likely for him it's just entertainment, for which people pay a lot of money.
If someone has a connection with him, ask why he doesn't want to make a normal game?

It is truly sad, I really like the general idea of the game even I understand it's a dead horse...I mean at the beginning it was ok game engine but now after all dose years the game engine is too old and this is why I always say don't make a game alone it makes no sense...

If he had just stick to ... something... I don't know any other game here around which has had so many "changes" over the years without actually making any progress.

I feel like i come back every few pages and need to point out that he is only doing this to learn everything. Like the whole point of the patron is so he can learn and share his models/Art/Design's/code etc, The Patron isnt there for the game itself, It is legit only there to fund his education on the subject.
That IS what Patreon is for, yes. Technically you are correct. Here's the problem however... as a software developer who works at a Fortune 500 and without looking at a single line of his code I can tell you he has bad engineering habits. Even if you're exploring a new technology or solution the single most important thing to do is to outline some proper goals and do some test projects following a proper spec (a.k.a roadmap). The reason we do this is that if we get stuck on something, you switch gears and work on something else usually unrelated to the immediate thing you were working on. Just like a game you have to begin with core fundamentals then add details on top of that. You CANNOT go back and rework your fundamentals because your details are contingent on your fundamentals. Otherwise you end up in this indecisive endless cycle that he's on now. Despite OOP and component models, most developers still program in a linear fashion, so changing 1 class usually breaks 10 others. If I were an employer in the industry, I would not hire him.

And learning in game dev is a constantly changing effort. Ask anyone who's played with Unity 3.1 back in the 2010s and compare that to Unity 2021 today. It's a vastly different engine from a programming standpoint. Now he's fortunate enough to have selected Unreal to where this isn't so much of an issue but I'd have a hard time believing in the last 7 years that he hasn't had to go back and redo a system because some underlying engine component changed while he was taking too long to think about how a spell should fire.

As others have mentioned, there's nothing wrong with delivering something VERY basic at start, then building on or reworking it later. Look at the development cycle of WoW, it is virtually nothing like the original game and has survived this long. He should know his first game is not going to be the greatest 3D porn game ever created but his development cycle seems to suggest otherwise.
