mod icon disappeared...
Click on the new Gameplay Settings icon, check to see if CheatNet is enabled. If not, click icon to enable, then exit computer screen and re-enter. Enabling/Disabling CheatNet requires that you exit the Captain's computer so that the icon list can 'update' when you access the computer again.

I have CheatNet disabled by default, 'cuz some people might not want to use cheats...

Hopefully that's your issue...

OK, y'all!

First off, word of advice, don't package mods when you are sleepy! I was sleepily exited to get the latest tweaks out to y'all, and I may have jumped the gun...

Anyways, attached is a 'patch' for my mod, that will address the CheatNetX issues y'all have been having. I also made a cool new icon for gameplay tweaks, hopefully y'all like it!

There is more functionality that I'd like to see with said CheatNet mod, mainly adding the ability to boost stats for the gals, say if you want to have Khelara parading about in the Krell uniform while in Iltari space and herstat's aren't high enough yet... but I digress..

Just merge the /game folder in the attached .7z with your /game folder, AFTER you've installed version v20c of my mod if you haven't done so already. The attached patch won't work without the v20c changes!

I'll add this to the v20c mod package in a bit, I want to make sure I don't need to 'fix' anything else first. Edit: v20c Mod package now updated.

So how did I do with the CheatNet mod revamp?
:coffee:

The new CheatNet is really comprehensive. I haven't made it far into the game but it already has pretty much everything I want whenever I discover something new so I assume for returning players it will be a godsend

OK, real quick, since the package is so small (1.6 MB), I figured I might as well just share the whole package again.

Attached is version v2.0c1 of my mod. The main change is the addition of crew member stat tweaks to CheatNet. You should be able to bump a few stats, change a few costumes, and rename the MC if you are so inclined.

BTW, I couldn't remember all of the 'quest related' items, other than Bio Activators, Bio Weapons, and Plasmoid spheres. I can add more items to the quest items pretty easily, I'm just too lazy to look them up in the manySJx .rpy files... Feel free to make suggestions!

Readme and version number updated.

That's pretty much it. There's one more thing that I still want to do for the 'd' version of my mod.

In the meantime, Enjoy!

Maybe I did something wrong, where is the new 'cheat icon' supposed to be?
Click on the new Gameplay Settings icon (lower right corner of Captain's Quarters computer screen), check to see if CheatNet is enabled. If not, click icon to enable, then exit computer screen and re-enter. Enabling/Disabling CheatNet requires that you exit the Captain's computer so that the icon list can 'update' when you access the computer again.

Which version of my mod are you currently using?
('right click' to access game menu, click on 'About', version text is there)

I got it figured out somehow.
Removed all the files and downloaded from the first CheatNet you uploaded, updated from there on out.
It is working fine now, thank you for the quick responses.

Quick note on the 'change outfits' thing in the cheat mod. Note that there are overrides in play in SJx that may pick a different outfit instead/override your outfit choice, just be aware of this. Sometimes it will work, otherwise SJx will mercilessly veto your decision after you leave the cheat menus...

I'm in the middle of tackling Nimhe shellbuilding stuff now. While I was here, I decided to do this...

GiveNimheShellTweaks_OhWeeMod.jpg GiveNimheShellTweaks1_OhWeeMod.jpg

So instead of looking at the 'item picker' and trying to figure out which shell Nimhe hasn't crafted yet, this popup menu (left) will show which shells are available that Nimhe hasn't learned how to build yet. I also tweaked the 'success' popup at the right, 'cuz I like to make things prettier, and I think the shell image is more appealing than the module, 'cuz, you know, boobies...

There's a particular nuance that I need to consider, that is giving Nimhe the lowest grade shell available if there are multiple shells of that type available, so yeah still working things out.

It'll take me a bit to fine tune these tweaks on my end, plus the 'increased chance of higher grade/cat as Nimhe's Tech skill increases' thing. I know what I want to do there, I just need to work out the actual syntax...

Anyways, yeah teaser pics for v2.0d, which I hope to release in the next couple of days.

error...(((
errors in the whole area..
I thought that I had shared the fix for this, but apparently I became distracted by virtual bot boobies... my bad! I did fix it on my end... fix is in new mod version v2.0c2, attached below.

Note that I added Infernum Ore to the quest related CheatNet items, still need y'all to sound off r.e. what other quest related materials should be added.

----

Y'all,

There's a more significant issue in screens .rpy relating to how I figure out how 'long' a choice menu is, which I THINK I've fixed.

I also need y'all to playtest my current changes I've made r.e giving Nimhe bots to study, so might as well share a new beta...

So yeah, attached is version V2.0c3 of my mod. Main change is this new menu thingie:
(edit: v2.0c2 swapped out due to code issue which should be fixed in c3)

Also addresses the 'addon' issue with CheatNetX, and a few other minor bugfixes here and there.

Long ass eadme has been updated as per usual.

As usual, drag the /game folder inside of the .7z into your SJx game folder, merging /game with /game.

As usual, bug reports are most welcome! A 'bulletproof' mod is always the goal around here!

Enjoy!
