I'm new to this game, and I really like what's there, but the game crashes for me quite a bit. TypeError: 'bool' object is not callable. Happens way too often to be playable for me. I play other renpy games just fine. Only this one causes the problem. I went back and tried v11 and it also gave me the same problem. Don't see anybody else here with it, and googling it, the only other results I see for the error are one where no one figured it out and one written in Russian.
Just booted up the game one more time and it crashed on the main menu. Damn man, love the art and the little mini-games and the early Sierra vibes, but it's just not worth this much trouble.

Whenever you run the RenPy game it creates the "log.txt" file in game's folder. There will be more details about the error there. You can provide this file for further assistance. But I can strongly suggest something is wrong with OpenGL and/or video drivers on your system - you probably don't have graphic acceleration at all because of "powersafe" state - so you're getting this error the moment a fade animation between the screens appears.

Well shoot. You're right. I checked my GPU settings and it was treating this game specifically like a leper for some reason. Moment I told it to stop being silly the whole things runs perfectly. Thanks for the help, bud.
