This entire games story makes me feels whiplashed every 10 minutes, genuinely feels like a sort of fever dream where i have no idea where am i going to go in the next half an hour. Because of that i didnt quite enjoy the story, even if it was a little humorous.
I did appreciate the visuals though, the 3D renders have been getting a lot of attention from the devs and kudos to them for this. The scenes themselfs were quite vanilla with some truly alien species which i found new and refreshing, after all, if we are in space with many sentient species it would feel weird if they were just humans with a different reskin.

I enjoyed this game, to an extent.

Someone here said this game is focused on porn - simply not true. I would even argue there's not that much of it as of right now (though I went for the straight content mostly). There is a lot of nudity, true, but a lot of it is non-sexual in nature.

The game is dialogue-heavy, but I thought it was well-written and intriguing, with some decent mysteries already in-place as well as potential foreshadowing - we shall see.

Music is a big part of the game (200+ songs right now), and a lot of them fit nicely, though I do find some choices weird.

The renders are superb from the start, but the "animations" are very lacking and, one could say, non-existent, but I don't really mind.

It's a very good story-driven game, I'm looking forward to future updates, but I will wait a while for more development.

It's more a 4.5/5 tho, gem in the rough.

Just did my first playthrough of this. It is a great no grind experince. That said I was glad for the rollback function and even the back in time option to you last choice,i died 3-4 times or so. It was still fun! If you have any fetish,any kink...well it is likely in the game and it is also avoidable. It really is an amazing feat. The humor is good,the music is even funny when it should be. The art work is well above average. I think this is only my 3rd 5 star rating ever(lately it has be a sea of 2 and 3 stars). So thank you for the game.

1/5 - DNF; Didn't get me off

Unlike most VNs, SpceCorps XXX fully focuses on the porn. It's refreshing to play a VN that doesn't bore with drawn-out romances or end-of-the-world bullshit. Nearly every scene in the game is a porn scene with just a bit of story sprinkled in to keep it interesting. There are lots of choices, but though some scenes do have multiple routes, overall most choices don't matter much. This structure gives the game an episodic feel, where you just jump from one porn scene to the next.
This structure obviously hurts the story. While it isn't terrible, the humour certainly is. Every 10 lines of dialogue there'll be a cringy juvenile joke. You'll end up wanting to facepalm before long. The game reminds me of those shows on Cartoon Network aimed at 12 year old kids who think they are adults. I can't stress how much this hurts the game.

For a game so focused on the porn, you'd expect the porn to be good - it isn't. The animations are just 2-3 frames back and forth, and even the renders are ugly. Many characters have cartoony facial expressions, many characters have ridiculous body proportions. The men especially are all rendered as super skinny with large pecs, which makes them look feminine. Speaking of femininity, a large portion of the content is focused on femdom and bisexual sex.
While you can choose not to be bisexual, you will still frequently be shown cocks and asses. While you can choose to avoid muscle women, you will still have to wrestle with one. While you can choose to avoid aliens, you will still remark how hot they are. If there's one thing I want to get across with my review it's this - don't play the game if any of the tags disgust you.

I love when a VN set in sci-fi setting actually contains a ton of species with their own lore, plot role and distinctive appearance (hello to y'all VN human female «aliens» with colored eyes/skin and horns). You want an alien? A human? A synth/robot? An AI? Creatures that bear resemblance to Altmers of TES or Night Elves of Warcraft? This game has it all!

Plot is alright so far, but this guy's no George Lucas, so go easy on him.

Gameplay is solid, only with minor sandbox/point&click moments. There's a Relationship tracker as well as some RPG elements and kink traits implemented.

Only one huge drawback for me is implementation of the kinks, as some of them seem useless (gays) and tend to pull the focus from the straight scenes. If you choose to skip the kink it will be disabled, BUT you'll be presented with the same choice later on.
I understand that, for example, one hot scene contains a little FemDom (The Interrogation) and it's HOT, so you wouldn't want to skip that. But is it so hard to make gay content dissapear once I ditch it?? OR make it even easier - ask me at the beginning of the game like most devs do with NTR!

It would be exciting to see the end-product, but unfortunately that won't happen as soon as I'd like.

If you're into sci-fi with well-detailed aliens you should give it a go.

Only the visuals are good. Not a great story , and the scripts are neither funny nor humorous. There are some forced-choice one has to make if he wants to develop a relationship further with that character. I also did not like the mc , his characterization.

I just spent ages writing a long florid rewiew of this game and clicked off the damn text box to find that loses everthing i've just written.

So here it is one more time. Great game. The naive sheltered MC being brought into a world where his horizons will be expanded, sets the scene for a good story. And there's a hook there for everything not to be as it seems with our MC too.

There is almost every kink you could imagine available and a few you didn't, which is great but that leads to the first potential problem. It means loads of work for the devs and the updates arent that big so far, but they have been regular. I love the fact that I can cuck Cole and steal his LI's and make him watch (a favourite of mine) and I'm hoping I can share her/them in front of him too. Bring the filth!

I just wish I could say I'd come back in two years (and I'm pretty sure this dev will still be going then, going by their previous updates) but I just can't stop myself DLing every time I see it on that latest update list.

It's a good game, very funny and with a good sellection of music. Many people don't understand that this is a WIP, so some mechanics don't work 100% and cry when they see a penis. It's pretty well written and has some really good jokes. I've really enjoyed playing it.

The only goal of this dev seems to ridicule the player with this territable game that forces kinks cuck gay and more even if disabled. Shit story, a bit of content at the beginning and then just wall of text and then nothing.

Story: 1/5 stars: The game forces a lot of content on you, even if you choose to opt out of any content, it is still shown sometimes... Not only that a lot of content is choose or get a game over which is annoying., also I really don't like some of the scenes where you opt out of seeing Love interests with other men, and you still end up seeing it. Also the game is a little rapey, one of the first scenes is watching you main love interest being raped by a commanding officer which is kind of a turn off. It feels like the players choices are frankly ignored a lot. Another annoying part is opting out is not canonical, for instance, choosing not to see a LI doing something, doesn't mean it doesn't happens, it just happens off screen, which kind of defeats the point, or they just don't tell you about it, but it still happens, which adds lying on top of it...

Characters: 1/5: All of the characters that are slightly conservative are painted as mentally handicapped or stupid, which is kind of rude. The main character shows as having 98 IQ but acts reallllllly dumb, which is not how 98 IQ people act, he acts more like someone with 73 or less IQ. Secondly, the Sargent is really rapey which is just annoying, and every other character is a slut or an asshole, other than Dave, there are no likeable characters here. Finally, the main character literally is the ONLY person who was a virgin before coming to the ship, literally everyone else on the outpost he was in was having massive orgies with everyone else, including the MC's love interests... How would he have missed all this, its just weird writing in characterization.

Sex scenes: 4/5: the sex scenes are good, and well animated, and there is a lot of content, but if you opt in to some content, you cant decide How it ends up going down, if you like futa, You can't decide to dom the futa, you are the one who gets "railed" same with other content, you usually end up the butt of the joke so to speak. Also to see some content you have to watch content that you would otherwise skip, For instance seeing scenes with Fatima makes you see some scenes with a character named Gilly who is a potential LI, who is infatuated with you, but is shown having sex with other people for some reason.

Dialogue; 1/5 the dialogue is just not realistic, everyone speaks like they grew up in the same jargon and 2000s era way of speaking which is just annoying and unrealistic as its a galaxy spanning empire.

Overall 1.5/5; Good if you can unlock the sex scenes and just enjoy those, do not play if you don't like watching you main LI getting raped off the bat of the story, or if you don't like having a story where your choices don't actually matter that much in regards to the content. Also, do not play if you do not like seeing gay or futa content, or sharing your girls with other guys/girls, because even though the game says you can opt out, it doesn't give you the choice until you actually have seen the content already, and the option is almost always, "skip" not avoid, as its usually canonical, and you just choose to not watch it happen.

Horrible game that tries to force kinks and attempt to make you feel bad for not indulging in cuck/gay preferences. Only play this game if you don't mind being forced to see kinks even after you have selected that kink be turned off. Also everyone is ugly in the game.

Amazing game. Super funny and innovative in its approach to kinks. I feel like this must take an inmense amount of work to produce, and it delivers. Characters, plot, universe, all leave you wanting more. It does this so much, that I tend to go routes that I would have never imagined, in a sense it has open my mind to some of the stuff that I would have never tried elsewhere. This I believe , is one of its greatest accomplishments.

God, what a crap, this game does not cause any emotions except vicarious embarrassment, the main character and all his "tribe" are mentally retarded (they were intentionally made so, in order to ridicule people brought up on traditional values), stupid secondary characters, ridiculous scenes and absolutely uninteresting plot, in addition, the "novel" is overloaded with scenes of terrible quality and a ton of unnecessary text.

honestly if you want to try it go ahead i played it for one hour and it was oneof the wrost experience it i bet it got enough scenes and got jokes at so many places but still the models are so ugly and you see things you don't want to see like huge ugly gay males fucking each other and it you can disable it but you will still get glimpse of it and some models are so ugly it just felt bad seeing that and it's not about one but 30% models i saw it can't be that bad right no it's bad they look like straight up horror movie characters

Game has some truely interesting concepts at play but, I found the rapeyness of this game very unpleasant.

Why exactly do I have to see a drill sergeant sexually abuse my primary LI at the very start of the game? So tasteless.

I would avoid this game if you are not into all of the kinks. The game's approach to avoidance is not canonically- rather to present a scenario that will be happening and ask if you'd like to observe it or not.

Also- playing a backwater religious idiot is pretty boring.

SpaceCorps XXX is definitely a very unique game. In both good and bad ways.

The good;

The story is funny and doesn't take itself seriously at all. The character models are different and there is a wide variety of content.

The bad;
The most recent update (0.3.7 at time of writing) still has the same problem that I have found with this game over the last several updates. That is, that the player's choice of which fetishes to see/participate in is only ever partially respected.

To elaborate, the game makes a point of saying that every fetish is optional. However, the player isn't given a choice to 'Not See' until after a situation arises that has the player viewer or almost participating in that fetish.
A further issue to this is that the game will constantly change your fetish preferences by putting the player in situations where they are again exposed to that fetish.

For example Gangbang content; the game shows the player a Gangbang scene, then asks the player how they feel about that content. The player says "eeeew", the result "Gangbang content locked out" card is displayed.... Ok, good. That is until you are presented with a hall and the game displays a random female moan, MC goes to investigate it... and you see a gangbang scene... game asks how do you feel about this? (again and regardless of your previous choice)" ..... If you say it was cool, then "Gangbang ON" if you say EEEWW (again) the "Gangbang" filter stays off... My question is exactly what is these filters are doing..

It kind of defeats the purpose of them, if you are presented with a preference option while already in the middle of, or viewing that type of content.

Overall the game is 'ok', as I said the story is funny enough, and my only complaint about that is that it seems that the MC is a clinically retarded moron who was brainwashed by the local cult leader... and I've never liked morons as characters, but as I said, the game is pretty comical and not something that should be taken seriously.

Should you play it?

Despite the developer's claims that every fetish is optional, I don't recommend this game for players who dislike sharing or seeing women, including love interests with other males/women, Nor do I recommend it to players who dislike having gay content constantly displayed.

SpaceCorps XXX typically gives the choice to 'Not See' (and please note that in most cases this IS 'skip' NOT 'avoid') either AFTER or WHILE the content is being shown. Which in my opinion defeats the purpose of such a choice.

Great game. At first it may be boring for some including me but later on the story actually gets interesting and makes you play more, just bare it for a bit before you decide.

It has a good story, great renders, decent music, characters are very good, everything else is also fine.

In this current state, most of the game you'll be in space in a spaceship, occasionally looking at past moments.
The game also has some comedy qualities, it does get really funny sometimes trust me, its really interesting.

I dont think i saw any animations tho but this game has a lot of stuff in it, all kinds of fetishes and you can choose what you want to see and do.
Theres also branches which are really interesting, im curious what will they be.

So yeah i'd give it a 4 star, been a while since i found another great game.

Review for version 3.6b

This game is thoroughly enjoyable. The one criticism I'd like to get out of the way, aside from the ugly models, is that the story comes across as pornographic but not erotic --at least not yet. Because the story rapidly jumps rapidly between an immense cast of characters, it's hard for a reader to get immersed in any sexual pursuit. Additionally, there are a few scenes where the comedic relief blocks other kinds of relief, becoming an unintended bathos to the eroticism. For these reasons, SpaceCorps is less erotica and more of a space dramedy that just happens to have loads of sex scenes and sexuality, but it’s still damned good.

Aside from a few moments of bad timing, SpaceCorps does comedy well, mostly using it during exposition and scene transition to make the moments less dull. While other games overplay the same joke or type of joke, SpaceCorps' jokes variety in type and delivery, with some being in the dialogue, some hitting you from the sci-fi setting, and some being in the game’s mechanics. Not every joke is a winner, but I think this may be the best comedy I’ve experienced on f95.

Speaking of the sci-fi, I'm loving the world of SpaceCorps. Yes, it’s made up mostly of shameless popculture references or rip-offs of popular sci-fi IP, but the amalgamation is just so damned entertaining and endearing. There were several points I’d be like, “That’s from Starship Troopers! Oh man they even got Riddick in here!” Because the story never takes itself seriously, the constant references are able to add another layer to the enjoyment.

Overall, I’ve loved my experience with this game so far. I’m a little concerned that the number of characters, kinks, plots, and routes being tracked in SpaceCorps will put its development on a 5+ year timeline, but I would certainly follow every update even if that does end up being the case. 5/5 highly recommend.

I found this game really remarkable.

Its strongest point is the writing, it is great fun.

The story and worldbuilding is good.
In the end the story is actually a bleak dystopia where young people are forcefully drafted into an inhumane military–industrial organization to fight in an eternal and pointless war,
and are immediately and systematically sexually and physically assaulted and abused.
But somehow the game manages to organically build a rather kindhearted and funny story on top of that.

I also find it remarkable that the MC is likeable even though he is not too bright (and everyone agrees on that), he seems completely free of malice ; somehow he reminds me of the archetype of the noble fool.

Many LIs are interesting and likeable and relatable.
I found it especially refreshing that there are interesting male characters .(But that might be related to the optional gay contents? in many (straight) games the non-MC males are just annoying caricatures of opponents, if they exist at all...)

The minor point that I could have done without is that the MC has the usual superhuman-sized cock (at least the writing is funny in that respect) and that there is an instance of the tiresome "small dick = evil" trope (but this gets a bit better later).

Arts and rendering are very good.

Music is used to *great* (humorous) effect.

Everything seems well coded, the UI is nice.

Sexual contents: The kinks are mostly not my cup of tea: There is a lot of gay / alien / femdom / ... / contents. To a good extend the according scenes can be avoided (or "deactivated", with quite funny feedback images); but the according content is still present in the story.

Some of the unavoidable things were also not to my liking:
In particular the MC is quite submissive; and the whole game is a bit rapey (with MC on the receiving end).
The (rather few) scenes that actually did fit to my interests were quite attractive.

But the game is so good that I did not mind that it did not cater to my sexual taste; but I assume if you throw a fit if you are confronted with just the potential of gay contents then better avoid it....
