you make a mistake, 7z is as files if I'm not wrong.

dev has problem with healthy issue, so will take very slow to progress their game.

Dev's recent updates were they have health issues and couldn't work on the game for a long time. Now they tried to get back into it but figured they have forgotten everything and it's basically like re-learning everything from the ground up.

Working on this game has long since stopped being a passion project and became an obligation, especially with their health issues. At this point I personally would completely support them not working on this any more. The result will not satisfy the fans waiting for years nor will it be good for the dev.

It sucks. Health issues seem to be what cripples the best of people in this industry.

However, the irony of having to re-learn how to make a game, when the entire point of chibiescape was to learn a different program to make a game, isn't lost on me.

I'm surprised how many fools are still left who believe this guy cares about the game and isn't stalling by making excuses. I was in middle school when he started development, and now I've had kids of my own and they started go to school.
It's been 16 fucking years of development and promises! 16 years, Carl!

Funny cause the last time i saw the dev of space escape, he fell into the brainwash of the "woke" and AI slop

So i don't ever expect of this guy to ever come back to finish the game (or even start it)

That's why I dismissed it before and again. In all practicality, out of sight, out of mind. It's simply not accessible without membership.

All in all, it is still getting blown out of proportion.

This is one of the few times I've taken the time to look up a video game developer to see more of their work... Although, of course, I think I arrived WAY too late to see how it was developing.

It's curious and sad to see how a project can stagnate and be abandoned due to things like medical complications, personal issues, or even a loss of motivation.

Even so, I'm surprised at how committed the game's creator was, given that this post is from 2021 and not 2017 or 2018, which is what I expected (although perhaps this is only partially true, assuming someone else uploaded the file).

I don't know, I came here looking for a good porn game, but I ended up questioning the video game industry, pornography, art, artists, and gamers. I don't think, and I hope, that they won't continue the project, at least not out of obligation. I still have a tiny bit of hope that one day the developer will say, "I love this idea, I have the time and the know-how. I'll finish this so I don't ruin what I created."






Ah, this also made me want to create a porn video game; I just need to learn how to draw, lmao.
