VN - Ren'Py - Special Request: In the Web of Corruption [v2.8] [Nemiegs]

This is a game I should really like, but the more I have been playing these games/vns the more I find myself looking for a good story and characters I can connect to. The problem with SR, is that I connect too well to the MC.

Pros:
I like the kink fetishes. The dildos, machines, etc. and the renders are solid. The dev sticks to his blackmail storyline almost religiously which ends up working. While the whole scenario and setting is totally unbelievable, the dev goes all in on it and makes it work in the "universe" they have created.

There are a nice variety of models and each character has a purpose with a unique personality.

Cons:
It's a bit too intense for me and I would imagine others as well. The dev does a nice job with MC. She clearly hates all of this and is being mentally wrecked by this entire ordeal even though her body betrays her again and again due to the pill they force her to take every morning. And while this is a totally realistic and believable reaction by the MC, it makes it really uncomfortable to watch. For me, it's just too rapey.

I think it would be easier for me to enjoy if the MC was unlikable, and while I find the MC kind of bland, she obviously is intelligent and has worked hard to be successful in her career. So far, it seems like the MC may be paying for the "crimes" of her parents or someone else. It seems like she is totally innocent and not deserving of her fate and this is where I just can't play it anymore.

Conclusion
Just because I don't like it, doesn't mean I don't appreciate the work the dev has put into it. There are regular releases with solid content. The story is consistent and always seems to move forward. If you are just in it for the fapability, you will enjoy it, but if you get uncomfortable easily, I would move on.

In this VN you are a female protagonist. My first impression, in the beginning, felt slow and mundane due to just me simply trying out the game because of the interesting title. I honestly didn't think I was going to play this for that long, but I was wrong. I played the entirety of v0.7 almost in one sitting. I got hooked.

I've played a lot of visual novels and this game is unique because of how it's put together. This game really mains on being black-mailed. The plot is simple yet effectively put together in a way that it's quite engaging. Depending on what kind of player you are, you will get a sense of do you want justice for the MC or do you desire for this MC to continue this shameful path. I've had many contradicting emotions while playing this. Because of how the author orchestrated this game, it will make you desire the shameful path because there is a lot of sexual content. However, the plot was tailored so well that, you may feel sympathy for the MC and I'm sure the author is building justice for her eventually.

The renders are above average, but over time, the plot will make the renders more appealing. The MC model didn't seem interesting at first, but that was just judging the appeal, not the character. After getting to know the MC, I slowly got attached to her and got hooked on her character, I didn't find her personality annoying or obnoxious, her response to most situations is quite reasonable. The interface has minor problems, but for the most part, I didn't encounter anything game-breaking. The music, in the beginning, felt like I was playing pokemon, but over time, it'll subside and get more serious.

Overall, I really liked this game, I look forward to its future content and I really want to know what will happen next.

This game is absolutely amazing among all the mediocre today game choice.
Nice blackmail, story and plot make sense, character is very pretty.

Good hardcore and rape scene, definitely is my top 5.

The only thing I would change, I would port this on Rempy platform.. but it question of taste.. not really a cons

One of the best "Corruption" games here. The main problem with other titles: the protagonist very quiclky becomes just a cock hungry whore. Any random dude shows her a dick - and the next second she is like: wow! I need to suck that! That quicklly becomes very boring as it totally loses its "corruption" vibe. Here the protagonist preserves her personality (at least so far as of v0.6) though is forced to do different "things".

Another huge "Pro" for me: the main character model. She's awesome. Plus unique (haven't seen her among other games' assets).

As for CONs: there is one main con for me. I'm glad that it moved from RPGM to RenPy (I think it is ALWAYS better until you are not making a jRPG with fighting, spells, RPG stats and so on), but the developer tried to "upscale" HD images from RPGM version to Full HD. And some of the images are done via rerendering (I think), but some of them are done via some lame upscale Photoshop Filter. I advice the developer for "old images" just use a common resize - yeah, they will be a bit "grainy" but still would look better imho then the current result. Plus some of the images are over-contrasted and over-saturated (compared to RPGM version).

PS. The dev seems either Russian or well familiar with Russian culture. "How much time? - Five watch. - Such much? - For whome how. - Finish in MGIMO? - Ask!" - is a well-know joke about "Runglish" in Russia. That was fun to read. As well as some other aspects. Wish all the best with the futher development and definitely recommend! Change the old images though...

A nice female protoganist game (which is a rarety).
Basically, you play as some prudent girl that was drugged during a party and was taken naked pictures of. After that the girl gets blackmailed and the story goes on.
The pictures and animation are ok, but not more than that.
The girl's model looks unique to me, or at least I have just never seen it in any other game. The girl, I would say, is realistically pretty. She is not some super model or an unbelievable beauty, but more like "one of the most attractive girls in the class" kind of girl.
The main kink of the game is humiliation. If you don't like it, chances are you won't enjoy this game at all.
The story is decent. Not totally believeable but ok for a porno game.
Unfortunally, there is very little of corruption in the game for now (which is a problem, considering the description where it is stated that the corruption is one the main kinks of the game), and it seems to me the developer doesn't know to implement it in a even relatively believable way. Maybe he should play something like Katie's Corruption and Good Girl Gone Bad to get some inspiration or ideas.

Overall, I do reccomend this game if you are into humiliation. In my opinion, it is a four star game. To become a five star game the developer needs badly to improve the quality of the pictures and add some "smoothness" to the story, especially to the corruption of the main protoginist to show how she changes and become naughtier over time.

excellent improvement from previous version, nice renders with nicer look of caracters. Also the story is interesting, Additionally, Ren'py it is mutch more friendly interface than the previous one of olders versions

Exactly the type of slow-boil, disempowerment corruption I like to see. The models are a tad uncanny and the dialogue and/or translation is a tad poor, but the story is wonderful. I have high expectations for where this will go from here.

Some of the scenes are hot, and some of the story has potential to become hot. The re-use of the same scream sound what feels like twenty times is annoying. There's far too much "click to see black screen, click to see splash screen, click to see black screen, click to see next image of story." There are almost no choice points, and they make very little difference (so far). One big decision that I think should be available isn't offered, right at the end. The introduction of the main character blows far too much sunshine up her arse. The husband's a total waste of space. This feels like a long, slow introduction to post-PAM sandbox gameplay, then ends. So far, it's a story.

the developer has a nice wife( very beautiful)and does not know what to do with her,gave us sex scenes with her husband(the most boring sex ),I would advise him to play the game (GGGB)to get ideas about corruption. Ιn the middle of the game I got tired of watching indifferent scenes(I almost fell asleep),Sorry but when I first played the game I liked it and I expected it to be an amazing game in the future with many sex scenes and many NTR. instead the author seems hesitant, conservative, without imagination,I hope in the future he will see things differently.(showed us a hundred times to take a bath and no sex scene in the office)
