To people having trouble with translation: the version linked in the OP translates the text to Chinese for some reason. Open BepInEx/config/AutoTranslatorConfig.ini and in the [General] section, change "Language=zh" to "Language=en".

well we can confirm than this game is finished WITH the 2d animated part....last ver is 2023.12

then we will have to wait UNTIL he will REDRAW everything using the new 3d engine....

why just dont' finish the 2d first an THEN make a new imouto 2 ...for me is a more logic.....

so there will be no official english 2d/16:9 version...... fuck that!!!!

I think he is making an RE version, because now he has much more experience with unity and development. Probably the OG version has some spaghetti code, a lot of hard code and questionable solutions. He mentioned that first animations weren't even made with Live 2D and he wants to update them so there will be no style difference with between new and old scenes. Although the use of 3D in recent scenes in concerning, I think most animations will be just ported to RE keeping the 2D.
