Spider-Man has existed over 50 years, owning 30 comic books is close to owning 0.

Still more than 0. Also it's only the copies I felt worth saving. Do you keep everything from your childhood or just the things you like? I'm not a die hard fan, but it gave me a lot of good memories and friends at my local shop. I could save a bunch of money going online for this stuff, but that doesn't help local businesses. Nor does pirating games. If you're a fan of this content always consider pledging down the road. You don't have to toss a dev 10 or 20 dollars, but a dollar here and there some months can really help an up and coming dev get started.

That's cool to hear about the art, and your plan makes a lot of sense. Art, whether it's 2D, drawn, 3D renders whatever, is often one of the things that really slows down game releases. So I understand that for sure!
P.S. Y'all need to relax with the Spiderman War, that's already been done in the comics like three times now.

Well i stopped reading marvel after One More Day, and stopped reading DC after the New 52. While this has been a blessing on my wallet I do still have a few of those old cardboard boxes for comics that you can get at any comic store you go to. Should still have a few hundred Spidey comics lying around in those.

only keep those you like as everything else can be found online nowadays, digitized versions of out of print comics are becoming easier and easier to find these days. that being said it's always nice to go to a Local comic book store pick up a 1$ each box of SJW marvel comics, and use them for bird cage lining, supporting the local shop, and putting shit in it's place win win.

Grew up watching the 90's spider-man series. Missed opportunity with the main character not being Peter Parker. Still, good luck with your game. I liked what was there.

At 12 issues a year 30 Spider-Man comics is still two and a half years of a single title. I'd call that more than a casual fan. I was a huge X-Men fan and I'm thinking about my first two and a half years of reading X-Men which brought me from their "death" in Dallas in the Fall of the Mutants story line through the entire Australia arc and almost to the X-Tinction Agenda and the launch of the second title and Blue and Gold teams. That was a lot of story and I gained a pretty good concept of the characters in those 30ish issues.

I like this feature! Kinda bummed there isn't much more to do after that, but hot damn, the update was pretty good. I especially like the Sue route and how far it's gotten.
I'm still getting the same bug that I had in the first version where, when you get high enough with susan, I get an exception error and you can't get the "hang out" menu anymore. And I'm getting it with Kamala too now. Here's the one with Kamala:
