you seriously think they should pay large sums of money to TL the game into 7-8 different languages per the request of the people who pledge to their game? why should they pay money cause a certain amount of people want the game to be in Polish?

also seems part of the post is more about editors and proofreaders than translators seeing as part of the post was "fix/suggest better English sentences". thats less a TLer thing and more of an editor thing.

I normally dont respond to retards but we are talking about just a English translation, I'm not caught up on the demographic of this game but i can confirm i know more than you cause it says in the post "ENGLISH TRANSLATION" which i assume a significant enough percentage of english speakers pledged to the patreon. Why are you so upset that they didn't hire professional translators? Hundreds of foreign games never get officially translated, instead getting patches made by a dedicated fan. sure most are just run through a machine, but some are well made and done by hand, even for massive games like MGQP. We haven't even seen the results yet, why so quick to pass judgement?

The 3 core languages: English, Japanese and Spanish then the rest of languages that are on line on demand of the playerbase asking for an specific language that needs to be noticed by an uprising amount of costumers. like c mon its simple rocket science lmao that is how you get numbers on a game by hearing the costumer demand on a thing that many would like to see in the game in this particular scenario a language setting.

anyways its just beyond stupid that they looking for people to do a job that requires of hours and hours for FREE rather than use that juicy PATREON MONEY since lets not forget they have not only 1 patreon page but 3 DAMN PATREON PAGES LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! so lets ask ourselves again ¿are mango and ginko worth to give money at this point? Not for me that is one of the wisest choices i done after stopping support for 2 months in a row prior to the censoring garbage fiesta =)

Last time i checked their discord group they were "gathering possible ideias" for the game that was before they needed to down the version number, also they were "making art by request of the fans" that was not gonna be used anywere "like fan asked for rorschach art days later the art was there", it was not a commission but seems like wasting time of the artists of the game.

The thing im trying to say is that the game developers were fooling around instead of fixing and developing the game, im not cursing them or saying they dont do shit because they are lazy, im still a little pissed on them because of the dogshit controls like the key for the phone, map and walking with arrows didnt work on the not so old versions.

I dont know if the controls work now can someone comfirm this plz? if they work im gonna give a try if not well 2 more months of wait for more updates.

When I was in the discord, it seems that the artist are waiting for the coder? developer? to finish their coding. I already saw some of the art and some of them are already in gif form like the enemy in the graveyard and church and many more(dunno if some of them are for the game tho.)

Maybe the artist wasting their time because they have time while waiting for the code to finished.... maybe.....

The concept, chars and gameplay are pretty good, the game has great potential.
But authors are constantly changing the plot twists, like they have no idea themselves what are they trying to create. As a result, H-scenes became awkward after the 3rd change of plans, and their amount is very little to really enjoy something. That to be said, side-character (Linda) already has her story told, while all main characters interact with MC on the non-existent level.
In 0.7, only Linda's and Raury's stories are available, Raury's is blocked by "under development" before it actually begins, Linda's is nice, but very short and, you know, meetandfuck type - "hello, stranger, nice to meet you, mind if I finger self while you have your hands full with my boobs?". And that's after the prologue words with some drama about missing father and complicated family relations...
So, like I said, - the potential is great and I'd like to see much more of this, but maybe in a less random storytelling manner.

That's what the "everyone is 18" notice is for, also pateron banned incest (even though half the porn game there has the "land lady") but pateron is aids and probably caught on(or someone reported) what was going on. they probably don't even allow the mention of rape too, since the story also mentions that. This probably wouldn't happened if it was subscribestar.

I think it's somewhere in this thread(beta 1.0, non unity version), I highly recommend not playing it, as this version broke in English at a certain quest, stopping progression. If you wanted to progress, you had to play it in korean, and I got by translating using some random ass software. the videos and text I posted is all there really all there is. I don't think there's any more tho cept the toy sex scene but I'd have to grind for that later.

oh hey you used a strawman while claiming i used a strawman. the irony is rich there mate. i was giving context on what the patreon post was probably about since the thread seemed to be going in a negative direction. in my view the link is there so people who like the game can band together to get the game TLed into languages said fans want. i randomly chose polish cause that seemed the most out of left field of the 8. i never said you expected them to DO a polish TL but that one shouldnt expect them to pay for TLers for languages other than Eng and Kor and thats why the weblat is there imo.

i personally agree that they should pay for an english TLer since Eng and Korean are the two the game is geared towards. that post, however, doesnt seem to be asking for eng TLers but proofreaders and editors

you say defend, i say giving my view on why the patreon post was probably made. theyve definately fucked up enough where they need to shut down the patreon pages and rethink their goals and how theyre going about making the game. however i do feel like the negative feelings people are having towards them are adding a bad lens to the post i was commenting about.

i for one do have some level of optimism that theyll rebound and make a good game. just depends on how the do the next steps. their game is certainly unique enough for me to hope for that

If you are subscribed to their patreon or look at it through the kemono website you can see that they have posted a lot of scenes for characters that currently don't have any like the vendor and plenty of scenes of characters not even in the game. I don't know what is taking so long for them to implement it in game when the art seems to get done pretty quickly. Maybe the programmer is really slow.
