I think the full release on steam came with the last big update, the studio got downsized but they have still been updating it occasionally. The last one had a ton of new content and i havent played the newest one yet

The patrons for this project are getting farmed. There is another game by this 'studio' called Spooky Farm Life, and it seems that these patrons are the ones who live the Spooky Farm Life. I would be spooked too, if I were getting farmed this way.
First time playing, question: is there a time limit for events?
Considering to just level up strength/dexterity/intelligence to max before continuing with the game (also farming toy factory so I can build all the toys on the toy box)

No time limit; you 100% can (and I do) grind up all skills before continuing.
One thing I will say.
The "candy basket" has 2 images for each enemy you can fight, one for the toybox (or equivalent) and one for the sex act happening during the fight.
For the "final boss" (no spoilers, but you'll know) and the clogged toilet Mario fight (it'll make more sense when you get there) be sure to fail/miss/delay in the fight and "get hit" by the sex scene to unlock it before you win, so you have those.
Every other enemy you could go get those images later by finding and fighting that enemy again...
But for those two, you have to get those when they come up (or revert to an older save, or start a new game) to get them if you miss those.
Dildos are a solid 20 pretty much across the board.
Rory and Linda like the handcrafted doll a bit more (30) but be sure to save a lot of cotton for other quests (10 for a new outfit for the gal outside the candy shop, 10 for Santa once you hit winter to do that quest).
Dolores at the library has +35 for the dirty book from the porn shop at the alley at the right-side edge of town.
But a dildo is 20 for everyone that takes gifts I think.
Saves time compared to a massage (a hit there is 5, crit is 10)... but if you have any money concerns; just do massages.
Oh, and if you didn't know; save your money and parts and get the 2nd upgrade on the watergun.
It does double your fist damage (one-shot kill with a crit on anything but a the two boss fights).
The sword technically does more damage, but it costs more to make, it has lower durability; and once you're one-shotting, more damage doesn't help.
The gun off the toy store, 12 upgrade kits, and 2 part B drops off the robots in the factory (level 3 of the factory) can get you the watergun. Say 400 in cash plus the drops.
The sword is like 850 + drops, and not significantly better.
I've said this before in this thread, but it bears repeating occasionally. You can "save scum" the blackjack game. Just save before you start. Bet max and play, if you loose back out and reload save. If you win back out and save. Continue till you have plenty of cash. Your bet limit increases so it will go faster as you progress. I was able to amass about 250,000 in about 10-15 minutes. Best thing is you're not "cheating" so you won't get any penalties, like using the cheat codes. Unless the dev's took that penalty out, been a while since I played.
Yeah apparently i can re-play all the scenes again in game to get them back in the basket but having to do that is just bullshit
I'm stuck with Raury, I just read her bedtime stories and fixed the teddy for her to use (she's at 12% on the candy basket, only scene I got is her using the teddy) and the quest log only says ???
What am I supossed to do now?
Also I don't know how to get into the playgrounds for Slenderwoman, when I go to the park I see no notes so I'm assuming I must unlock the playground somehow? Any help is appreciated.

This Dev is getting 17k a month passive income from patreon alone. There is absolutely zero incentive to finish the game once you hit the crowdfunding jackpot.
