The main characters were originally written as related but Patreon has a rule against incest so that was changed.

how do i trigger the pumpkin head girl and slenderwoman event?

pumpkinhead : find morphine at night, she'll appear in a random location & take her drugs. New quest at cemetery, go inside the gate and she'll be at the dungeon entrance.
slender : raise dolly's friendship to 50 (half meter) and get her new clothes. A "new part time job" quest will show and then you can go into playground.

extra tip : once dolly's at max friendship, you'll get an extra mission to hand out 8 coupons; Sue, Dolores, Waldo in library. Ronie, Galina, Ricarno, Dani and Manjula in Gym.

One quick question, is this project still being worked on?

It's being worked on, a new update released a couple weeks ago I think. The progress is REALLY slow though, so I wouldn't recommend supporting them on patreon unless you're fine with more or less just giving money away.
I don't remember exactly why but I think they had a problem with a dev leaving and they had nobody writing any code for like half a year to a full year. I hope progress goes faster in the near future but with how quiet the devs are it's hard to say when something will happen
