The developer probably has internal version numbers that they use to keep track of the versions, and this might be the first version they feel is worth releasing to people.

Been a Patreon for like a year, Patreon releases have gone .1, .2, .3, .11, and finally .22
There was a huge overhaul at .3 where Obscure went in and reworked the game competely (it's much nicer now) and started from update 1 as .11 so this is actually the FIFTH release. This just happens to be the first release he put up on F95.
