its a mural puzzle this is copied from someone else. first one is the nut in the sky (it represent an UFO), second one is the worshipping people giving them food, third one is them squirrels shooting those worshippers, fourth is the squirrels taking the women to their ship enslaved, and last one is the worship their overlord Squirrels as they give them an ewe to breed with and thus all women replaced by ewes.

I have a pretty good guess what the rest of this post could be about cause the dev has been radio silent ever since he posted it back in October, but is there anyone here who's read it and KNOWS for sure what it is about ?

In short, it's a postmortem saying that the main (and easiest to do something about) complaint about SL2 was too few CGs. Then stating the realities of commission costs and the required amount needed for the characters in SL2, while saying that it wasn't a problem with SL1 because there were only 2 characters. Ending by saying whatever comes next will likely be a smaller game so it can have more focused CGs.
Judging that the concept game has 6 or so characters, I also get a feeling that's why he kinda stopped actively working on that.

I think fewer characters is perfectly fine if he can recreate something as good as Squirrel 1.

I thought the whole event/engine system was a really cool idea, but I just absolutely hated the combat/class system in SL2. It's definitely very ambitious, though perhaps it gave people the wrong idea and they expected the CG count of the Japanese RPGMs that have similar setups.

er my main complaint for 2 is theirs no true ntr, the squirrel kindly only goes for the one you're not going for.

I didn't get far enough to accurately comment on that, but it did seem far more like Steward and that one girl were just written to be together. Now I get that he's written like that on purpose, but from what I saw of the first game the only choices were either him fucking your love interest, or fucking your mom, which are both pretty solid betrayals compared to the little I saw of him in SL2.
There was other dumb stuff happening I see too, like apparently E621 refusing to display ads for SL2 because the subtitle featured the world "children" in it.

The MC doesn't have a mother in this one (or at least not one in game), so no.
One of the characters does see her mom giving a blowjob, but I don't know if it happens again with Stewart or not.
