Yeah, should probably retract that then. I feel like you can have content like that in your game (if it's soft enough) but saying it outright is a red flag. Someone with a vendetta can definitely weaponize it.
Also has the dev tried OnlyFans? It's obviously worse visibility (but better than susbcribstar) and just as strict ToS.
i for sure hope not i really like the potential this project has
no idea i don't know what the dev is doing rn but that might be a good idea, i don't think he tried onlyfans

Although Zet probably shouldn't have used that term I dont think it would have mattered. The PP have an ax to grind they are all about imposing the 'culture' expect more tightening of what becomes censored. The way this stops is lots of pressure on Banksters & politicians. Also challenge Anti porn groups 'facts' & also exposing opposition figures when they are caught behaving badly.
Anyway hope the game is released soon I've already lost money because of the last instances of Patreon shenanigans. Really hoping a subscription service emerges that allows payment in crypto + a 'Steamcoin' would also be a great thing as well

Patreon read it and thought it meant losing a partner that raped you as opposed to being cheated on/ntred. It's really on the dev, can't expect some intern to know the difference.

The past few days I pretty much wasted most of my time trying to build my own membership hosting but it's too much code for me to handle so I might give up on it for now and revisit it later.
Subscribestar as usual is MIA and never going to reply, so I have some alternatives to what's the next move I should do to set up a support page.
That being said, I realize hours of previous dev work could have been spent on the game instead of mulling over these things, so that's exactly what I did and am back to focusing on the game.
I'll not worry about patreon or whatever for now and deal with it once I feel like the game's release ready.
So just posting here to give a heads up in case others want an update.
Since I literally just finished writing Cobalt's hospital scene before posting this, I decided I'm going to share stuff about it as some teaser/spoiler.

A demo is a snipet of content to wet the appetite NOT a full game or VN.

My gripe with the game atm is that it doesn't seem to have been ready for the full public release back in mid/late August, September. Even with the SHITnanigans of Patreon/Subscribestar/KoFi.

Since I don't currently have another way to reach you all directly, this Discord channel could be a temporary alternative to communicate.
Obviously with all the issues recently, our original timeline has been screwed up. But regardless, I think the game will probably be release-ready within the next few days.

I want to be transparent with you about the situation: as you know with the Patreon stuff, I haven't really received anything yet to help with the funding, so getting the game out sooner could help ease the burden with ongoing development since the publicity would help bring in more support once I get a ko-fi, subscribestar or whatever option we have open.
Here's what I'm asking (anonymous vote):
Would you prefer:
Option A: Maintain the planned 1-week early access for supporters before the public release
Option B: Release another demo with a different personality, 1 week early access for other 2 personalities for supporters.
Option C: Release publicly immediately, then implement early access rewards starting with future updates
I genuinely don't want to disappoint anyone who backed me specifically for the early access perk, but I also want to be honest about the current funding situation. Whatever you decide, I'm committed to honoring all promised rewards moving forward.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
