Yeah she wasn't anything to the MC. The MC explicitly says they weren't ever a thing. They didn't date. She didn't dump him. He didn't dump her. They just existed at the same college. Which is my criticism. I dont care about Violet because the game didn't give me a reason to care

Why should the MC feel a connection to her?

The big difference here is that you are already playing an edited version of the game in the original release, her story was presented completely differently.
