I got an error saying 'img/pictures/SI_Aura_RL_Earring_1.png' at the part where Aura is wondering to herself in her room about who she could relieve her "stress" on ruling out her boyfriend because she doesn't want him to see lewd her body is getting and it's not letting me pass no matter how many times I spam retry.
Save?

My only issue with this game is the lack of bad ends. A quest that's practically begging for one is the manor/maid quest, but she laughs off going there despite very nearly losing herself the last time. There's no real choice outside of the railroaded corruption from what I can see.
That's normal, bad ends are supposed to be (maybe) added in the 2.0 version.
Right now the objective is release the game with a good end and bad end for the 1.0, and optionnal stuff like bad ends and such will come later.
The current railroad is an effect of avoiding bloating the game with too many features before it's finished, so as to avoid it sinking into another "abandonned" game.

I want to like this game, I really do, it has so much going for it. The problem i have with it is the two halves of the game seem to oppose each other. Both halves are well thought out on their own but with their goals seemingly being in direct opposition of one another you seem to be incentivized to actively ignore half the game to meaningfully interact with the other half. Like if you want a good ending you actively should avoid doing anything in the mental realm and if you want to see H scenes you need to purposely play badly in the RPG section likely hampering your progress there.

If the mental section had instead been about defense it would have not had so much dissonance in the game play. Or if in the RPG section you played as big bad laying traps for the heroine or something of the like.

If Normal is too easy to incentivice taking lewd actions while still aiming for a good run, have you tried Hard mode? It should be able to clear this problem for those skilled enough they can't struggle on Normal and purposefully have to play bad.

I also know that on 4chan a lot of people also consider my game a lazy scam (I check the archives), so I strongly feel the need to connect your very general arguments to this game and make clear what this feature would mean for Star Knightess Aura.
Just a reminder that 4chan's /v/ are in general pirates that don't regularly contribute, either in time, money, or effort. Interlaced with them are blackPR shills that are paid to shit on things(Besides the obvious trolls). Why do they shit on games? To clear up competition for whoever hires them. In addition to all that, in recent years, there's been multiple "Eternal September" waves there, which has softened the overall edge in that area.

If you're actually doing something, don't waste energy on the haters. You're already doing fine. Be glad you aren't Boda, YandereDev, and so on.

Which is playing the game in hardmode, because mental changes are the main way of dumping Corruption so you don't get a Game Over.

and if you want to see H scenes you need to purposely play badly in the RPG section likely hampering your progress there.
I've been following the game since May (so I little trouble with it anymore), and I can say that the H-scenes are not hard to get in one playthrough. I always run out of content before I unlock nearly all the mental changes though. At this rate it'll be easier for me to get the good ending than the corruption one, short of purposely wasting time in Roya.

You know, 20 years back i had a game on navigator when it wasn't that common and i had a lot of people happy with it and a lot of players on a everyday basis (More than 1K in fact back then for a french only game.) It's not to show off but i simply wanted to share with you a bit of my now, long experience in the domain.

No matter what you do, no matter how shitty and lazy, you will have people calling you a Genius, even if you perfectly know what you did is just lazy shit :D
On the other hand, you will have people always complaining what you are doing is bullshit, even if you can see how you put efforts in details, how you made things a lot better than everything else available, how much time and efforts you put in there.

If internet was a place with some logic, i guess everyone would know it ... I know it's not as easy when you have Patreon pushing you to publish content every month, but sometime i simply take a break, it's good for me, as i can do something else, reconnect with the real world that is usually a bit (only a bit) less excessive but it's also good for those people always arguing with no clue about what they are saying.

I don't want it to happen at all, cause i'm waiting for your updates every month, but having some people have to wait a bit for what they thought was a due, sometime makes them think a bit about the bullshit they could have said, and realize pressuring people doing a formidable work is not going to get them anywhere else than in disappointment.

But once again, i'm saying that, i was not pressured by the Patreon stuff back there, but trust me, after a month of Holidays, every one was happy to see me come back to coding ^^

PS: makes me laugh cause it makes me think about a scene in your game, where the big villain is waiting for the next release of his favorite game, and the release is once again delayed cause of his own fault! Could really apply to a bunch of people.

Okay man, why is the intro boss fight so stupidly long? Dying to Richard's "final form" is tedious as hell when the last time you can possibly save it is 15 minutes before this fight (due to exposition dump during, between, and after the fights).

And how TF do you get your MP back? Can't kill this guy because you run out of MP (as you have to use most of it in the first portion of this fight), what the heck am I missing?

Not very fun when you just have to start over and skip the intro. Maybe you should make this a bit more forgiving considering it's, well, the introduction.

Pretty shitty to railroad the players into a multi-form, unskippable back-to-back boss fight before they even have any clue what the hell the game's about. We aren't invested in the game yet, don't chase us away before we care about the game. The intro should get you interested, not piss you off.

In my opinion there should never be a possible "game over" in any game intro, unless we're talking like Dark Souls or something similarly unforgiving. But this is a porn game in RPGMaker; the stakes are not that high. Chances are I'm not the only player who got put off by this overly long slog through exposition-dump that spit us directly into a game over. It was enough to make me turn the game off after attempting to reload my save and try the fight a few different ways (again, leading to game over).

I might come back and revisit this game in the future, but I wanted to let the dev know that this is the experience I had with their game, and this was the opinion I formed after sinking about 30 minutes into their world-building efforts during the intro. Yes, I recognize the effort that went into this quite obvious labor of love, but getting slapped with a game over before you've even seen a titty is enough to chase me away, that's for sure.

Yeah, I'm annoyed. This intro is annoying. There, I said it.

Had this happen to me when alt-tabbing back to the game (fullscreen). Also, I think the location name that goes by in a couple seconds for the cafeteria is misspelled. Also, "cemetary" should be "cemetery".

Uh, no idea about the tabbing thing. I can't reproduce it, so for now I will just keep it in mind.
The typos are fixed.

This has to be the best H game I've played in terms of mechanics if not anything else.
The gameplay is absolutely top notch and I don't think there's a single thing about this game that I dislike, if anything I can't wait for it to be finished cause I really want to see all of this planned content in action. All the characters fleshed out so far have been really interesting, Aura as a protagonist is so much more interesting than any protag I've seen because of the way you explore her psyche and explain how she's also fucked in her own way, I wanted to type another paragraph about Alicia but I think I'll just leave it at "Alicia is love".

Anyway I have a question for the dev, Idk if you've answered any questions about endings or even planned anything yet but do you think there could be a AliciaXAura romance route eventually? I'm not one who's super into lesbian stories or anything but after all I've seen and learnt about these characters and their relationship I can't help but want for an ending where they both meet each other halfway and overthrow richard or something, the idea of Aura reverse-corrupting Alicia without her realizing and bringing her over to her side while Alicia tries to corrupt Aura is just so fucking awesome.

You are missing that there are abilities other than tiger slash and charge of the oxen. The buff and debuff skills are by no means pointless fluff abilities. Also, energy of the rabbit is the skill you are looking for to replenish MP. As it turns out, the introduction is 'secretly' really good. Aura spends most of the game in a very weak state, and you need to constantly alter battle tactics and manage resources to make progress. Finding out that spamming attack isn't a winning strategy is an important first step to playing this game.

You know the area with the bandits in the southern Forest of Runes? The leftmost building has a passage to the tunnel. And yeah, it's been one of the most common questions.

What's the difference between "added lewd scene" and "integrated lewd scene"? Does one of these imply that the H-CG is included?

Awesome game btw!
